this place is above average for its location. they had goose island, red hook, samuel smith and of course tons of schell. however they also had a limited amount of really nice brews including some rogue bombers, all the chimays and even westmalle (both dubbel and tripel, and both in 750s!). the guy there told me their distrubutor is a bit ambitious, and he seems to be. a nice oasis amongst the desert of grain belt beer in south central MN!

Admittedly, this is not the best beer store however, it is the best beer store in New Ulm that I have found. It has Goose Island, Rogue, full line of Schell’s, Chimay, New Belgium, and various others. The beer that made me decide to enter this store was the ’97 Sam Adam’s Triple Bock that they had there for under $5. Staff was friendly, but I did not ask them any beer questions, so I’m not sure about how knowledgeable they were about it. Not a store to go out of your way for (I included rare beers in the description, but I may remove it if nothing is there the next couple of times I make it down there), but if in New Ulm this will probably be the best place to stop aside from Schell’s for the brewery tour.
