JK Ambiance 3 Service 5 Selection 4 Food 7 Value N/A Overall 5

I have been here many times, and I wouldn’t have added this myself. There is Chimay and some Rogue and other singles, but nothing rare or exciting. 2 of the 4 best beer shops in MN are 5 minutes away (both Roseville Cellars) and I would go there instead. Service is friendly but doesn’t know beer, and the selection is so small you shouldn’t need help anyway. There are some interesting wines here, and I like World Market. I do stop in the beer shop when in the store for other reasons. High food rating for the variety of imported food, including lots of hard to find chocolate.

I was suprised not to see this store on here yet (so if it is please let me know). My wife and I shop here every once in a while and whenever we do I stop in to the attached alcohol part (it has to be separate because of Minnesota law). You walk through the main entrance and instead of turning left to go into the store, walk straight ahead. They have a few Bell’s, Rogue, Chimay, Gluek, Flying Dog, Boulder Beer and some others. Their main focus is on wine but there is beer here as well. The staff is always very helpful and the store is rarely busy. The beer is located mainly across the back wall of the store. If you’re over at Rosedale Mall you may as well cross the street and check this place out.
