The bartender told us that this place had been brewing their own beer for 8 years. It’s hard to understand how they could be at this for so long and still manage to made such bad beer. In a non-tourist town of 7000 people, you’ve gotta love the concept of a having a brewpub. Great use of a significant downtown building. They just don’t make very good beers. Very nice servers.

my message to you: unless they have cleaned their lines, ridding all beers of the vinegar flavor that permeates them, there is no reason to visit. I wish that this was not the case - there is true potential here. Located in the old corner bank, with brewing equipment displayed in the former vault and tabletops created by varnishing old banknotes onto the surface, I really wanted this to be a great place. The beers were so contaminated though, that the ambiance just becomes a reminder of what could have been, not a happy addition to the experience.
