I found these guys in the yellow pages. When I ran into a problem, I called to ask questions. Even though I bought my stuff at another supplier, the lady that answered the phone was very patient and very helpful. She even put me on hold to call another brewer with one of my questions that she couldn’t answer. When I came in later to pick up more ingredients, she chatted with me for nearly an hour about beginners brewing techniques. I wouldn’t have expected that since I bought my starter kit elsewhere, but it was great. This was definitely some of the best customer service I’ve experienced.

We took a road trip down to St. Joe in order to check out this place. Their web site suggested that this would be a pretty solid homebrew shop. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the shelves were pretty bare. The hop pellets and the yeast cultures were all expired. I suppose that they simply middle-man most of the things they purport to sale online. The worst thing was the fact that once we made our purchases, the actual prices were HIGHER than the price tags. The woman running the cash register stated that they had increased their prices and none of the price stickers were correct. This just seems like a bad business policy to me. Maybe the woman was just ripping us off. Regardless, I would suggest that you stay away from this place. Both online AND off.
