Place rating 110. I agree that this place is damn hard to find. I tried to passively find this place about 4 times until I finally saw it. In other words, I knew kind of where it was off of Jefferson and looking just north of 44 but I just never seemed to run into it. Well, the reason is because it is kind of along this alley that runs parallel to the interstate. Kind of. Well, anyway this place has a lot of potential. Kind of reminds me of Sams in Chicago only with about 1/40th of the selection. The beer section is better than what I have been to in StL to this point. Having said that, I am yet to go to corral liquors which is supposed to be the best. The prices are good. For example, I got a Yeti and it was 5.99 whereas other places AWAY from StL was 4.99. I will keep visiting this place. I hope that they can keep it up.

i’ll rerate this place if it gets better with the new guy ordering beer. the american micro selection very week, even for missouri. there is a decent british iles, german and belgian section. rerate- chris is really turning this store into a pretty good beer store. getting a lot more of the good americans in here that are available in missouri. this plus the illinois store selection is pretty damn solid.

i love this place. it’s a few blocks from me and really convenient. they have more variety and space than any liquor store i’ve ever been to and the prices are great. the staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly.

July 07 - In an odd location, this cavernous warehouse liquor store has an entire tank-wide aisle dedicated to beer. I brought hom about 6 single imports that were new to me plus a couple 6’s of local micros that I can’t get at home. I’d hoped for the ability to mix and match micro singles, but no such luck. Have to go to Illinois for that I guess. Decent selection for the STL area.

First thing I have to say about this place is that its extremly hard to find if your not familar with the area. Basically if your getting off east 44 on Jefferson go straight across at the light even though it looks like your getting back on the highway. Ok that said my review of this place is better now than when it first opened. Huge brick buliding is the first thing you notice and its only being half used. I went the 2nd day it opened and was greated by a huge AB display with cases of Bud Light stacked to the roof. On a return visit I must say that I am more impressed. Almost 2 full isles of craft beer shelved by country. The pull of the place is the prices! Much better than the local chain grocery stores and they let you know it. Most beers are nothing out of the ordinary but there are some hidden gems in there. No mix and match singles but a boy can hope. Excellent Scotch section along with about every known spirit to stock up the home bar. A good but getting better beer store right here in the city.
