| douglas88 (35), Salt Lake City, Utah | | August 2, 2008 Stopped by while visiting Yellowstone. Basically a dive. Poor service and very poor food. The people were nice and all, it was just not a nice place. Some decent beers on tap though. Prices were way too high, and I can say this place could be cool, but it was not. | tincup (3), does not count - explanation | | June 6, 2006 Montana’s quirky brewpub laws (must stop serving beer at 8:00pm) put a damper on an otherwise very nice establishment. The place was on the small side, but packed with tourists. They emphasized German-styled beers. Therefore, the selection might be considered limited, however, a quite good selection for their niche. Good food and even better beers. A must stop if visiting Yellowstone National Park. At last year’s GABF I was stopped by the owners as they noticed I was wearing one of their t-shirts. Good people. | | BrewDad (192), Olympia, Washington | | February 12, 2006 Stopped during our tour of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana and Western Wyoming regions. As we visited all the National Parks and Breweries summer 2004. Stopped pretty fast they where not open but it was early. We did get a shirt and some cool swag when we told them about our trip and the breweries and such we have seen. They where very nice and we will be back on or next Yellow Stone trip. Hope to drink some beer next time. |
