Occasionally, they host a small beer tasting here consisting of an employee serving small pours out of the bottle into a plastic specimen cup. Usually, there’s a sale price beer or two that represents a fairly good deal.

Typical supermarket feel. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. Beer selection is mostly 6-packs of micros available here (Odells, Goose Island, New Belgium, ect...) also Paulaner and some other German 6ers. Didn’t notice any singles except the larger format British (Sam Smith, Youngs) and German bottles (Spaten ect..) No Belgian beers avaible, although there were a couple of Belgian-style beers from Ommegang & GI. I had no reason to need assistance, and I’m not sure why you would in the beer aisle...but help was offered elsewhere. Its nice to see a beer fridge that isn’t loaded with AB products, but you shouldn’t expect to find anything too special here either.

Wild Oats will never shock you by carrying something crazily out of the ordinary, but this is one of the two better retail locations I’ve found in the Omaha area.

I’ve not found many places in Omaha that sell beers of interest, but Wild Oats seems to have more than any other store in the area. Last I checked they had New Belgium, Rogue, Young’s, Sam Smith, Ommegang, Old Peculiar, Shiner, Spilker, Empyrean, Lindemans, Boulevard, Rockies, Odell, Paulaner, Spaten, Sierra Nevada, and other various run-of-the-mill imports (Loewenbrau, Fosters, &c.) They even had some small bottles of sake there. Nothing rare or blow-your-mind exceptional, but many quality offerings.
