Right behind Heineken brewery, big terrace and wooden interior inside. Not so many people at the time I was there (9 p.m.). Beer selection is below average for Amsterdam standard, so unfortunately I didn’t find any new beer here.

People working there don’t always know that much about the beers and oftentimes they don’t have bottles that are on the menu. The food selection however is good. It’s also a fairly calm place and there is always room to sit.

I like this location better due to the bigger terrace and nice wood feel inside. For a newbie there’s lots on tap and the house beers are quite good. Once you’ve had their house beers, the selection doesn’t change very often.

Very big terrace, nice seats, always in the sun, but place enough to hide in the shade. Same food and beer selection as at Beiaard Spui, meaning decent housebeers and tap selection and reasonable but a bit pricy food. Inside is spacious and nicely decorated, lots of wood (see foto’s at the website), but always quiet the times I was there (daytime). Less crowded, not much tourists. Nice if you like to enjoy a Rochefort 8 with a good book in the sunshine. Very close to Gollem II and right behind the old Heineken brewery.
