Just behind big Grasshopper coffee shop. Small place with space for not more than 30 people. Poor beer list 4 on tap (Duvel, Venloosch Wit and Alt, La Chouffe), 7 bottled (Mort Subite Kriek and Gueuze, Westmalle Dubbel, Corona, Beck’s and Amstel Malt). Interesting cooper ornaments on the ceiling. The food is also avaliable, it is prepared in some bar or restaurant across the street, Cafe Heffer I think.

Hmmm. Not clear why this cafe is on Rate Beer. It has a selection of Lindeboom (not available too widely) and standard Belgian fare. Perhaps it was included because this Cafe is relatively nice in an otherwise seedy - albeit touristy - part of town.

By far the best place in Amsterdam for a good beer and a lot of fun. Ask if Rob is working! Great place for college students, and young adults alike.
