Visited after midnight on a Saturday. Insanely packed, crazily so, hard to move around. They appear to have one house beer which is supposedly great but they were out of that one. They also carry a beer from a small local brewery which sees almost no distribution & was quite lovely. Selection seemed to be largely standard otherwise. I heard a lot of lovely things about the owners. As mentioned above the place was just too crowded to get much feel of the place. You might want to go here earlier on the day. Overall decent. People had great things to say about these guys.

Tiny bar on the older streets of Den Haag. Very crowded on a Saturday night but a good atmosphere. The bar staff knew Chris (Kermis) and we got served quickly. There was a wonky table outside to sit at whilst we enjoyed the Huppale and the Porter brewed down the road. Inside was waaaaaay too crowded. Overall definitely worth a visit but if you can I would come here out of peak hours.

Visited on a saturday afternoon. Nice small dutch old brown bar, nicely decorated bar, wooden seats. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good service. Decent range in the small selection, having some modern Dutch micros next to the regular Belgian stuff. Would definitely visit again.

Small bar right downtown Den Haag. Good music, lively ambiance, even on a Tuesday. Not a huge beer selection but a nice selection of Dutch micros. If you come here you really should try the Haagsche Broeder Prior beer from the brewery up the street. They have some other good Dutch stuff like Oedipus and Kompaan. Prices are decent, especially considering the very central location. Fun place, worth a pop in at least if you are in the area, I will revisit.

A very lively and popular bar and one of my favorites in The Hague, with a small selection of craft beer. Their taps and bottle selection are decent, though you are unlikely to find anything unusual part from their own excellent HuppAle, and the Haagsche Broederís beer from the abbey nearby. Donít go out of your way as a beer destination but do try and visit if youíre in the area. They also have a superb Scotch collection, the owners are great and super friendly. It can get extremely busy on a Friday and Saturday night though.

Visited in september 2014, with beery friends. Smaller, very cosy pub in the city center. Pretty easy to find. Have a nice selection, both on tap and in bottle as well. Friendly and serviceminded staff. Not many seatings, so can at times seems a bit crowded. For sure worth a visit :-)

Small pub, fairly crowded. Good staff, nice atmosphere. My short visit prevented me from having a good look at the beer list unfortunately.

Been here a couple times already and I wasnít aware that this place was on here. Great place to have a few drinks with a 3 rotating taps and a decent bottle selection. Nothing extraordinary, just mostly the regular suspects. All for a good price. Good to here that theyíre doing business with some breweries to brew their own line of beers, which are two at the moment of writing this. Great whisky collection as well, but I certainly hope that they will improve their beer selection.

A small and friendly brown cafť with a somehow modern twist. There are ten taps, including three or four monthly specials, and a good bottle list. Sausages hang over the bar alongside a 1839 bell with a plaited rope pull. Unfortunately I didnít get to ask why they had a glass full of Danish 25 Ýre coins behind the bar but at least the hopping frog logo became self explanatory when I realised that "huppel" means "hop". I liked this place. It immediately felt comfortable and had quite a buzz, being busy with youngish locals early on a Monday evening. (Last visited 25 September 2014).

Crowded place, have to get the way through people smoking out of the door; some good beer available, but nothing rare; the best thing here is the location, a lively street. But I prefer other spots in town.
