serve (1), , Netherlands does not count - explanation | | November 29, 2009 Nice pub with it’s own brewery. Friendly staff. | | bierkoning (173), La Tropica, Netherlands | | October 27, 2008 Cozy pub close to the railway station. Fairly well stocked with the usual Belgian suspects, but also 6 tap from the own Kolleke brewery. Bottles from this brewery available to take away. Busy on a saturday evening. Friendly and serviceable personnel. | | SHIG (81), Aviano, Italy | | October 26, 2008 Nice little bar with a selection of six beers brewed on site. Gets a bit busy and crowded on a saturday evening. Food was very tasty, but took a while to get. The staff was very friendly and always bouncing around trying to keep up. | | jbrus (110), Delft, Netherlands | | May 31, 2007 Nice little place in the centre of Den Bosch, not too far from the station (3 min). Quite a nice selection but mostly pretty standard available in Holland elsewhere, except for there own beers of course. Friendly staff, but not really knowledgable. Although it was a wednesday afternoon the place was packed and as it was not too cold outside all chairs were filled as well. Except 2 and those we took. | | NoiZe (49), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands | | January 31, 2007 Nice old pub. A lot of beer-stuff as decoration. Nice selection of beers. | | caesar (119), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands | | October 4, 2005 Good ambiance in this old ’brown’ cafe, although they only played 80s music, which suxx big time. People around here are usually around 40 years old, so that may explain it. Staff is younger, not everybody knows a thing about the beers they serve, which include some of their own brews, t Kolleke. Very nice selection of beers, not very rare beers, but the best of what belgium has to offer. Also, they had a very nice cheese platter. | | Hunsell (43), Amsterdam, Netherlands | | April 18, 2005 It was a little bit hard to finf this bar in the middle of pretty Den Bosch (Hertogenbosch), but it was worth looking for. When we were there, carnaval just started, and the place was immensely crowded. I don’t know the situation in regular weekends, I guess it’s quite crowded then as well.
Cosy place, on the dark side, tables are close together, toilet is extremely narrow. Beerselection is OK, few surprises, but there seem to be a lot of good beers around here. Prices are very reasonable, and they have a nice selection of whisky’s as well.
Staff is friendly and though it was crowded, we were helped well. The food was good. Recommended. |
