9/6/2007 3:22:17 PM, thursday, september 06, 2007 The best Brewery in RENO. Very clean along with a nice set-up. They had about 15 taps on. 12 of there own ($6.50) for all 12. Theye also had a good selection of other beers. Fast and friendly service.
6/4/2007 10:57:40 AM, monday, june 04, 2007 Semi-fancy well lit place. Fairly comfortable. The service was good but they did’nt want to hang out long enough to awnswer a lot of questions. The beer selection was good with 8 selections. The food was to foo foo for me so I did’nt order any. Allright pub, but I enjoy Great Basin more.
11/26/2005 8:44:19 PM, saturday, november 26, 2005 delicious. food was excellent and the beer was awesome. as a vegeterian i had more options than i regularly do at brewpubs. they are not picky about filling growlers from other breweries so that’s pretty cool. the staff is super nice. if you have a chance to meet the brew master introduce yourself and compliment him on his craft. i heart you silver peak.
6/9/2005 5:49:18 PM, thursday, june 09, 2005 Food is predictably good--some dishes are top notch--desserts are good. Ambiance is nice and caters to a yuppy type. Beer is usually decent, although I’ve had two unpleasant beers here--ESB and Prodigal Ale. Luckily the brewer often tweaks the beers that aren’t on tap constantly and this is subject to change--IPA has evolved quite a bit over a year + in tasting. Seating is available outside, on an upstairs balcony, up and downstairs, or at a bar with a view of some of the brewing equipment. Service is always good. Growlers are $4/fill on full moons. A place for a nice dinner, and maybe a nice beer too with a dynamic selection of seasonals.
10/4/2004 1:16:33 PM, monday, october 04, 2004 Conspicuous clean, well maintained building in the southern Virginia Ave slummy part. You can look out the windows of this restaurant and find 2 porn stores visually. Lots of free parking. Inside is well decored and well-staffed. Definately catering to a higher class than the area would lead you to believe. Meals are large for the price and well prepared. Nothing gormet but much better than buffet scraps or $4.99 prime rib. The beers are boring but the sampler is large and daunting. The brewery is easy to see and also well maintained. This is part oasis, part mirage. You find a gem in the rough for a restaurant but the quality of the restaurant much overshadows the quality of the beer.
