tylerss20 (9), New Hampshire does not count | | May 19, 2008 Small place just off the Interstate in Concord. At first glance, it is nothing special, with soda, snacks and cigarettes up front. But the back has a very impressive collection (for NH) of local brews and imports. Staff consisted of one very friendly clerk, but generally you are on your own, which is okay (it’s fairly cramped). In a fifteen minute peruse, I saw Duval, Stone, Ommegang, Spaten, Grolsch and a lot more. They carried the entire Sam Smith lineup, which was impressive. I picked up Sierra Bigfoot, Smutty Impy Stout, Xingu, Shipyard, Pennichuck, and a few others. Their mixed singles 6-pack rate (9.99) seemed a bit steep compared to some other places I’d been, but the selection was as good as any NH store I’ve seen. | jpdoherty3 (1), Concord, New Hampshire does not count | | October 19, 2007 Great place to get beer and try new types of beer (“beer tastings” are great!). Very nice people, especially Mary. The place visually could use some updating... But heck it’s all about the BEER! | | puboflyons (16), New Hampshire | | May 26, 2007 It is under new management and the new manager is a beer officianado who does his best to get every available label sold in New Hampshire, which has some restrictions. It is small but it sports best selection of local, micros, regional, and imported brews in the Greater Concord, New Hampshire area. They host regular beer tastings. |
