Very cool and very impressive tour. Despite the general swill they produce, their factory in St. Louis was very reminiscent of a Charley and the Chocolate Factory experience. The tour is free and you get two free 12 oz. beers at the end (though me and my friend took 4). I tried the bare knuckle stout (see my rating), the shock top, the Tilt energy drink beer, and a bass. At the end of the tour when you get your free two, I was surprised to see Stella (not an impressive beer for me, just impressed to see non AB beer) and bass - I found out they carried these because they distribute them in the US, as Bass and Stella mutually distribute AB in Europe. The brewery is definitely worth a visit if in St. Louis. AB is definitely very good and efficient at what they do.

Have been to the brewery a couple of times. Once to take the tour, which is free I might add and once to attend an annual BBQ rib fest they have there. Both times I had a good time. The tour is cool, they show you around the place, don’t try and push anything on you and at the end you get two beers of your choice. I believe this is one of only 5 locations where they offer tours. Obviously selection and quality may be lacking a bit but did I mention it was free? I sampled the Bare Knuckle Stout and Demon’s Hop Yard IPA, which was actually pretty good. Definitely fresh. Ribfest was cool as well. AB provides the beers (not free) and I had the Demons Hop Yard that day and award winning BBQ rib restaurants, etc. travel there. They have a band playing, some games and it’s a pretty good relaxing time. If you’re in southern New Hampshire take the tour, it’s not bad and free.

Taking a free tour at such a massive place like this just a pleasure to go through. You go through all different rooms and see, smell, and feel different temps. I’ve been on this tour at least 10 times and I’ll never get tired of it. To top it off, you get a couple of free beers of your choice at the end. And I’m not really a big fan of AB’s beers (but they actually taste good fresh from here) but the tour is great!

Budweiser products always taste better here than they do when you buy them in the store. I don’t know if it’s the sales pitch that gets you excited about sampling a beer or simply the fact that it is fresher here than in a store. The tour is an educational one, typically self-serving, and it is interesting to watch how America’s largest brewery manufactures its product. Decent gift shop. Occasional rare brews to sample at the end of the tour. And of course it is the Northeastern home to the beautiful Clydesdales. A must see on a visit to Southern New Hampshire and just off U.S. Route 3.

jjpm74 had it right. The tour was definitely well worth the price (free) and fortunately they don’t lay on their macro propaganda too thick. At the end you can try 2 9oz (I think) glasses of their beers, on tap, as long as you provide ID showing you are 21+. I went with 2 other people and so we ended up actually trying 6 of their lesser known beers including Demons Hop Yard IPA, Beach Bum Blonde Ale, and Redbridge. There is free soda (Coca-Cola products, I think) for anyone and a free bag of pretzels. I thought it was funny how much importance they place on their clydesdales, like they are some big attraction. Well I guess they need something for the kids.

Nice and actually an ok place to visit. They serve some good beers but of course also the shitty kinds. I tried Elk Mountain on draught here, real tasty. Children are allowed but of course not for drinking. Those who wants to taste the brew all get ID’ed.

Why add this to the places section? Quite simply it’s a must stop for anyone in the region who wants to learn more about the brewing process. Tours which are free are comprehensive and well worth it. I learned a great deal about what makes the macros tick and what goes into brewing on such a grand scale.
