Situated in an old house. Each room has a fireplace with the exception of the bar area. Food wise, they offer a full menu and feature some great meat dishes. Beer wise, they have 6-7 of their own on along with another 6 guest taps. Service is good and beer to go is available. Worth a stop if in the area.

This is a HUGE pub, sits a few hundreds. Divided in many sections and I really didn’t like the restaurant sections. Just too basic family friendly restaurant for me. Thankfully we can eat in the pub section and it has a nice pub atmosphere. They had 8 homebrews on tap + 3 boring guess beer. I had a few of their beer and most session beers were decent session beer. The stronger offering was a failure. The food is nice and affordable and definitely not for those on a diet. You can eat a full meal for $10 to $20. At $20 you get the combo platter and you need to be very hungry. We were there on a very busy night, the staff was running around like crazy but we still got an excellent and quick service. Important note: This place can get quite busy during tourist season. There was a 45 minutes wait for a table on a Saturday night. All in all this place is really worth a stop if you are in the area.

The beer at Moat is nothing to rave about but still it is freshly brewed craft beer which beats what most other restaurants have to offer. I thought they actually did a pretty good job with their porter which is a style I am often dissapointed with at other brewpubs. This could be partly attributed to the fact that I was so underwhelmed by their other styles.

Stopped by for lunch, service was great, food was tasty, beer was good. When this area is busy I’ll bet this place is hopping.

Large historic building that is quite bright and sunny inside. Good selection of beers and a decent food menu as well. The beers aren’t earth-shattering, but they are well-constructed. Worth stopping in.

nice historic building with a good view of Mount Washington. Ate dinner here and the barbeque was good. If you don’t like it slathered in bbq sauce I would recommend asking for it on the side. None of the beer styles on were very adventurous, but they were well crafted. A big plus is that you can rent rooms in the inn upstairs, and if you want to go somewhere else to try some rare/vintage beers, Ebenezeer’s Pub in Lovell, Maine is a half an hour away.

This establishment has a warm and inviting atmosphere without being dark or industrial. The restaurant itself is always clean. While I have always had excellent service, the last waiter I had was only 20, and could only describe the beers by what they looked like. I felt that he could have asked someone working their (perhaps a brew master) for more information, since he probably would get that question a lot. They have plenty of their own beers available and only a few macro brews, which I found perfectly acceptable. I don’t think you should go to a brew pub and ask for Miller anyhow. They have quite a large variety of foods available, including some vegetarian options. I was quite impressed with my flat bread pizza. I would eat their again and I do usually eat there when I’m in the Conway area.

Stopped here for lunch and were quite happy with that decision. Nice seating choices: in the bar, the closed-in patio, or one of the rooms inside. Food was excellent, with some uncommon, but not too strange choices. The beers we tried were excellent, with good variety of styles.

Good list of house brews on tap, as well as a few macros for the unadventurous. Food is a very good chemistry of American boldness and creative tastiness. This great food somewhat overshadows the average beers of which the Hoffman Weiss is dominating, imho. If in the region, a stopover is fun, especially if you are hungry, but otherwise I can’t say this brewpub’s beers stand out much in the New England beer seene.
