| blipp (18), Grand Island, New York | | August 11, 2008 Not a huge selection, but very close to my house. Growler fills are a huge plus. Some bottles are available as singles but others can’t be broken up. Not quite the selection available at premier but a bit cheaper. | | mds (100), Toronto, Ontario | | July 31, 2007 The closest of all of the Consumer’s locations to Toronto with a pretty solid selection.
Like others have mentioned of this chain, they don’t split up six packs, but otherwise the selection of bombers are the best you’ll see.
The import selection pales in comparison to Premier but I suppose that is to be expected.
Awesome selection of rotating growler fills is great and reasonably priced.
It’s definitely worth it to stop at one of the locations during a trip to the area. | | IPFreely (86), Niagara Falls, New York | | June 14, 2007 Finally, a decent beer stop in Niagara Falls! Nice selection of regional micros, and a few solid imports. Better prices than Premier Gourmet, and the ability to have growlers filled is a huge plus. They’ll fill pretty much any growler you bring in; it doesn’t have to be a Consumer’s growler. My only major complaint is not being able to split up 6 packs or buy singles. Oh well. It’s definitely a solid stop. |
