took a drive up after hearing so much about the place. walked in and wow there is quite a bit of beer. got a cart and started browsing. loved the singles of anything in the store and quickly had a loaded cart. found a couple of sweet clearance beers and they comped me two glasses with the purchase. the store is certainly well organized and i thought the selection was great. as someone else noted all the blinds were open and the sunlight was streaming in which i thought strange as well.

I live and have lived about an hour away form this mecca for beer lovers. The staff is very friendly and the managers generally know the beer they are selling. The website stays pretty up to date as far as draft list and they tend to have a variety on tap at all times. The bottle selection also changes often especially because nothing stays around too long. I love being able to buy singles of anything you want, that is key for me and one reason I love this place so much. If you are looking for variety or looking to boost your ratings and try new brews this is the place. They also have a descent glassware and growler selection and always have some vintage stuff behind the register. Great place to shop if you are passing by, live near by or live even a few hours away it is worth the trip.

This place never ceases to amaze me with their vast selection of beers, both in bottles and cans and on tap. This is the first place I have rated, so I’m not sure what the ambiance should be for a beer store. It is clean, well organized and well stocked with over 1,000 different varieties. The people are friendly and the stock is fresh. My only complaint is the price. I thought their prices would drop as they got more customers, however that never transpired.

Worked here for the summer. I also stumbled across this without knowing, and I’ve lived in this town my whole life! Any questions should be directed towards Matt, Corey, or Justin. Tap selection is good, and I love the free glass with every $100 spent (very easy to do).

Found out about this place because a few college buddies of mine work there. The selection is great, but they do not carry a few major micros that I would like to see there in the future, but I think that is due to distribution limitations. The staff is knowledgable and passionate about beer and are willing to help you with suggestions. The owner sometimes demands that the blinds be open during business hours, which is incredibly stupid, so the manager will usually override this insanely idiotic move. The tap selection is always changing and stays fun and interesting. Beers you would never expect to see on tap often are at Half Time. Whenever I’m in NY I make sure to stop in.
There is a nice cigar selection up front to boot. Also cool is the free glass you recieve with each hundred dollars you spend. I will consistently walk out with two or more glasses.

Very good selection with alot of belgians. 7 beers on tap while I was there. Pricing was pretty good and there was a pretty good selection of glassware as well. I try to get up there once or twice every couple months.

Stumbled across this place entirely by accident while vacationing upstate in October. Thought it was some kind of sports bar the first time I passed it, then got a closer look at its sign going the other way and had to check it out. All I can say is WOW, I would love if they opened a second location here on Long Island. Tons of rare brews I haven’t been able to find down here, and we have a few good distributors of our own. Half Time must have expanded their selection since the summer as they had several of the brands that others said were missing (Southern Tier, Great Divide, DFH... dunno about the others). Suffice it to say I’ll be stopping at Half Time whenever I’m within an hour radius of PK for sure!

Huge selection, with decent prices and they sell singles. What more could you want? The cashier told me I could choose a beer glass on the house too, likely because I spent so much. I would easily put this as one of the top 5 beer stores in the country.

The best selection I have seen since leaving Mayryland eight years ago. Mix and match six packs! Prices a bit wavy but the selection. well around these parts is second to none! I had no problem spending 100.00 on 24 bottles. I also got a free glass A certain return for me.

I drive 50 miles from Westchester County to shop here several times a year. Their bottle selection is outstanding (sure, there are a few important breweries missing but why quibble) and their keg selection is not to be believed. I recently wanted a keg and asked if they had any Avery and they said, "which one, we have them all, in multiple sizes". Very friendly owner and knowledgeable staff. Well worth the trip from, well, anywhere!
