Been plenty of times. I love the look and vibe of the place. They got rid of the bandstand space in the front dinning room which helps the overall appeal. Bands now play in the bar. Service runs from slow to good, but for the most part the slower pace seems to work for them overall. I’ve only ever ordered draft beer here so I’m not sure about the bottle selection, but I’ve always been able to find something excellent on draft. I’ve pretty much eaten here about 90% of the time I’ve been. Surprisingly some of the food can be a little bland, even with their Cajun / BBQ menu, but it’s always tasted fresh. They’ve turned into a stabilizing mainstay in the neighborhood and I for one am very glad for their presence.

Food is typical BBQ stuff. I had ribs, potatoes and greens, which weren’t bad. They have two beers brewed exclusively for the bar, of which the amber is not that good and the stout is pretty good. Maybe about 10 other beers on tap including 90 minute. The best part about this place is the live blues there every once in awhile.

Rougher part of town? South Avenue and Gregory Street? Disregard the last post. Some of the best cajun and BBQ you will get in New York State. Custom Brewcrafters brews an ale and a stout for Beale Street exclusively. Great music on the weekends.

This place is in a rougher part of town. I happened to be in the area so dropped in, but wouldn’t prefer to come within miles of this area. A tougher looking bartenderess, a small bar. A couple of ables outside. I saw about 8 taps, with the same names of previous reviews of others from months ago. Nothing I have not had in the last few months.I suppose if you live in the area, this is the best place to go for beer, particulaly with the local McGreggor being closed. Overall a smaller than average bar.

They sell macros, micros from Bear Republic and lost coast as well as their house beers that are produce by Custom Brewcrafters. Good food at reasonable prices and good service.
