This place has been around for more than two years and time to go out of the way to see it. I immediately liked: its downtown convenient location, you can do a walking tour to all the key places and drink as much craft beer as you want. It was very nice inside and outside. There were at least 48 taps, likely more, and they were organized, i.e. the Belgiums and Germans were together. And I was immediately greeted and made at ease by Kelly Coles. Oh and the name. Oh and people from the food and beverage industry were hanging out there. And its very comfortable inside. They set a couple taps while I was there. Recommended.

Well, not having been to the McGregors in the past, I can only ponder. I liked this place, with a good selection of taps (Brooklyn monster!!), place is nice and lighted, but service, although friendly, was marred by a beginner waitress, who managed to get our beer order wrong. Well, we got a freebie, so,...Price are very good on food and beer. Will return for sure!

I’ve been to the previous MacGregor’s and found this place to be little different. Noise and ambience is more suited to family and serious reviewers as MacGregor’s seemed to be more of a "party" crowd. They still have a ton of taps and represent the local breweries well. I ordered the Turkey Melt for $8.99 which was a tad cold and bland (was there a sauce on this?). Our waitress was working only her second night so we had to be patient. Our beer order was submitted wrong; food was served to a neighbouring table before us even though we arrived 10 minutes earlier and placed our order further in advance.
