| Nate (179), Indiana, Pennsylvania | | May 23, 2008 Stopped here for some dinner items rather than dining out- nice beer selection but doesn’t beat Bruisin’ Ales. Good food selection - got that hippy co-op vibe that is common in others I’ve visited in Boise & Burlington. Friendly service, prices above average but good stuff. Took our food to French Broad River park for a picnic. | | emacgee (25), Chapel Hill, North Carolina | | May 18, 2008 My problem with this place is its all six packs. There are a few singles, but they are the kinds of things that just aren’t available in six packs. you can’t split things up. its basically a whole foods when you get down to it. Selection is pretty good, probably won’t find anythiing here you can’t find elsewhere in Asheville. The one upside is that this may be a place where nice stuff gets overlooked due to the demographic. Found a St Bernardus 12 special edition because of this. | | dolemite77 (10), Maryville, Tennessee | | February 4, 2008 Great selection with pretty good prices... organic groceries (also pricey). I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I would go here often. | | TURDFERGUSON (37), Carrboro, North Carolina | | January 23, 2008 This is a nice little grocery store with a dank beer selection. Always hit this place up when I’m in town. Selection is similar to WF or the like, but the ambience and service are far superior. Never got to meet the beer manager but I heard he was a cool guy. | | mgumby10 (45), West Palm Beach, Florida | | September 24, 2007 Grocery store atmosphere, but once you get passed that, they have a decent beer selection in the back. I picked up about a case of some stuff not available to me. i wish they sold more singles, as I only picked up a few. Not an overwhelming selection of rarities, but they had a few, with a good local mix. Damn good for a grocery store anyway. | | mnicole (11), asheville, North Carolina | | August 30, 2007 a great organic grogery store. the selection is pretty good. the staff is always helpful. most of the beer is in sixers but when i have asked in the past they are usually willing to break it up and sell singles. | Ingy (4), candler, North Carolina does not count - explanation | | August 27, 2007 Decent selection of brews, fantastic food. You’ll go in looking for a couple of beers and leave with sacks of groceries and an empty wallet. | | Jmichael (33), Asheville, North Carolina | | August 13, 2007 pretty cool organic grocery store with killer beer selection, can’t beat that, and they usual have a beer/wine guy on hand that answers all/any question. | | decaturstevo (55), decatur, Tennessee | | August 7, 2007 Nice place with an excellent selection of beers for a grocery store. They have a selectioin of local growlers as well as singles. The prices are reasonable. They had no real gems but the beer guy was on hand to go over my list. Gave me an email address to check in advance for coming beers or if they have them in stock. Food selection in this place is very good as well. | | nearbeer (81), Knoxville, Tennessee | | August 1, 2007 [ Updated September 2, 2007 ] Great selection for the ETN/WNC area. Two guys were climbing a ladder and jumping up on top of the beer cooler section to look for stuff for me. Place is kind of crowded and the parking lot is a mess, but the beer selection and staff are great. Hopefully TN will change their stupid alcohol laws like NC did a couple of years ago, and we can have a place like this. | View Page : 1 2
