A good place to go and get a good beer and be able to play a game of pool or smoke a cigarette. The option of being able to run over to Tyler’s and grab whatever you like there is pretty convenient. Nice setup with the couches and a neat view of main street.

This was a very nice establishment with a dive bar atmosphere including full size pool tables and smoky old couches. The draft selection was excellent for the type of atmosphere. I wish that there were more beer bars like this where you can skip the pretentiousness and play a game of pool while sipping on a DFH or other micro. When it gets too smoky or crowded, you can just walk a few steps into Tyler’s and relax on some leather couches... very nice.

Since I moved to the Triangle I have loved this place. I went the other night and was a little bothered by how popular this little place. The selection is good and is actually better now than in the past.

Could be known as Tyler’s younger, immature brother. Connected to Tylers by a swinging door when both are open, this bar has many of the same bottles available at Tylers with about as many taps (but thankfully, they are different selections). The selection is usually pretty damn good. I might even say that it is better than Tyler’s sometimes. Missing the proper glassware, but def have some great brews. 90 min IPA usually a staple. Had a Brasserie des Rocs Grand Cru on tap there for 5 bucks. Has three pool tables and foosball in the front room where the bar is, and comfortable couches and chairs in a room in the back. Very chill atmosphere, but a bit too smokey for me at times.
