40 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 7/20 nearbeer (163) Knoxville, Tennessee | July 31, 2008 Stopped in here about 10 years ago and I agree with erock1. I was all up for a British pub experience, but got the typical U.S.A. corporate rubyapplechilibeefridays with crap on the walls instead. | 42 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 3/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 6/20 erock1 (5) Cary, North Carolina | November 10, 2006 I don’t know how this place stays in business. I think they are owned by the mob and are used to launder money. The beer selection is very average. The food is awful (stick to the burgers, if you must eat here), and the service sucks. Stay away. | 36 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 5/20 GeneralGao (222) Iowa City, Iowa | January 19, 2006 Nice enough place. Very clean, pool table, friendly staff. Lots of TV’s in the bar area. I wasn’t impressed with their draught beer selection, though. 10-12 taps...the most exciting wa Sierra Nevada pale ale. Didn’t eat. | 50 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 DocLock (144) Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania | May 23, 2005| Updated August 28, 2007 Excellent service and ambience, with a decent selection of draft and bottled beers. The food was very good... Southern style stuff like ribs, Carolina pork BBQ, and flank steak, with sides of BBQ beans, cole slaw, and corn bread. I did not see chitlins or collard greens, thank God! Worth a trip if you are in Cary, but ratebeerians would probably enjoy sitting at the bar more than a table. |
