Comments Located in the old home of Blinco’s, Falls Tap Room is the newest member of the Draft House Group which includes Macgregor, Harrison’s, Village, and Bass Lake Tap Rooms. It has a similar menu and beer selection. There is a nice selection of North Carolina beers, as well as microbrews from around the country. The food is good, but not spectacular. The menu is missing some winners from other restaurants in the Draft House Group, such as Sawmill Tap Room’s shrimp and grits. There are some really good servers here, but an equal number of really crappy ones. The bar offers a beer special everyday (including $3 pints on Wednesday), and buzztime bar trivia. Overall, a good neighborhood bar, but if you’re not close, it wouldn’t be worth a long trip.
