This is a conveniant store located on Peace Street in Raleigh. I would have never thought this place would have the selection it does. Hugh selection. However, be aware because some of the stock can be very old. Don’t know much about the service since I have never talked to the workers. But if you want something new, stop by and get something.

Imagine the store from Clerks. Then add an awesome beer. This store is totally disorganized. Labels don’t match, occasionally it’s hard to find prices. It’s pretty dirty. Damn good beer, local, US, international, with some hard to find stuff. Not very helpful staff and I certainly didn’t appreciate the back in 2 minutes sign when I got there. (It was well more than 2 minutes)

So during my 2-year sojourn in Raleigh this was clearly the closest (I could walk if I put my mind to it) good place to buy good bottles. A bit odd (but then again, so is the rest of Raleigh) sort of reminds one of an old gas station convenience store, without the petrol. Odd assortment of tons of styles and labels, haphazardly placed amongst Fosters cans and Miller High Life I can’t tell you how many hours I wasted in there simply trying to figure out what all they had. Lots of Belgian and German specialty treats, as well as harder-to-find American micro’s.
Always more expensive than they should have been a half-hour trip to Sam’s in Durham would put this place to shame for their prices, to say nothing of organizational skills, selection, and above all, SERVICE.
I started avoiding PSM because the guy working there fussed at me for making notes to myself on prices and selections what gives?

Great place to stop after work. I stop by here a couple times a week. Not everything is priced so the prices are inconsistent. Either way there are plenty of gems here

I stop here on my route once a week to check the selection... Its a run of the mill Quick-E-Stop with a hugh cold beer wall.. Most is 6-paks only.. not much as far as singles.. but i can say they have a great selection.. and they specialize is carrying most beers of any one brand.. somthing u cant find much at a single bottle shop round here.. not bad

A no frills quick stop that has the best beer selection in Raleigh. If they don’t have it, ask them, and they will order it right away.

Nifty little dump of a convenience store. I found all kinds of stuff not available in my area, so it took some doing to shift around the boxes, suitcases, and computer in my trunk to get it all to fit. The owner commented on it, so I told him I stopped there because I was told it was the place for beer in Raleigh. His reaction? "You drove all the way from Chicago to buy beer?" "I like beer," I said. Anywho - This place could be that much better if, as the others have noted, six-pack splitting was allowed.

It most definitely is a convenience store, but with a whole lot of beer. It takes me forever to make a selection. As mentioned, six pack splitting would make this place a whole lot better for those of us that don’t have a whole lot of cash to drop on a 6 of mystery beer. Open late, which is nice in a town that generally goes to bed early.

The place is a convenience store that has a good selection of beer. Most are only in 6packs.

Very good selection, and the owner was very helpful. The only negative was the lack of "6 pack spiltting". Also, once the asinine 6% rule is abated, this place will get even better. I found Rogue Mexicali here, as well as a great selection of locals and a huge British selection. Do the Brits also have a 6% law?
