Pete and his wife are very friendly and very helpful. They have a nice store with lots of N.C. craft brews among others. They carry all the Rochefort’s and other Belgians. Some beers are sold as singles; others in four and six packs. Pete was nice enough to break several six’s for me. A wonderful bottle shop near a beautiful beach.

A little slice of beer heaven in a beach setting! Located next to/behind a Wings Beach Store and Dairy Queen, it is on the corner of Rte 50 and N. New River Rd. and is very accessible coming from the island or the mainland. Nice selection of beers from Avery to Unibroue with a little something for everyone in between. They also have macro swill for anyone that wants a decent bottle of wine along with a their beer. About 20’ worth of cooler space with one for singles and the rest for sixers or 12/cases. I visited them 3 times in my stay in Surf City and would go back again if we go back (which we probably will). Very friendly and beer knowledgeable staff.
