Nice view of the harbour, other than that the atmosphere is lacking. Cafeteria like tables get the job done. Service is adequate to good depending on the person and the timing. Beer is excellent amd a good number of taps. The ratings on all of their beers are low because of the weighting - not enough ratings. Unfortunately they seem to have closed now. Hopefully we will see the beers and or the brewer turn up elsewhere.

Some nice beers, but that’s about it. Buddy working the bar seemed like he REALLY didnt wanna be there. I had a couple beers on the patio and that was a mistake. More pigeons than there were patrons, a large basket of fries served as their afternoon buffet, for the whole time I was there, nobody cleaned this up, dive bombing birds and a pigeon nearly misses me with a dropping french fry. Pretty damn nasty, with bird crap on my table to boot. But thats how she goes, I guess. Nice view of the harbor tho & yeah I like the beer.

A great place for a drink outside. Nice view of Halifax Harbour!! Very knowledgable staff And at it’s peak season quite a selection of Brews on tap!! From a bland Pale Ale, a Red, a Brown, usually a Weizen as well as a wonderfully hoppy IPA and some darker choices. The seasons seem to change availability of certian beers. The food court atmosphere gives the brew pub an odd relationship to the rest of the property. It is a good quiet place in winter to have a beer or 10.

I did like the upscale food court and the friendly staff. Company was good too! (Thanks to Bobby). Beautiful view over Halifax harbour (must be great in summer). Beer selection decent, and IPA was great!

Yes, it is a food court, but how many food courts do you know of that serve lobster? The staff is great - I’ve only seen one or two people working there regularly, and both know the beers reasonably well and provide great service. You won’t have to wait long for a refill. If there in the winter, the food court and &quo;mall&quo; it’s in closes early evening, but the brewpub typically stays open until at least 9. So it may look closed when it’s not. If you’re there in the summer, the deck is now rebuilt, with lots of seating. A decent regular line-up of brews, plus seasonals that are often experimental in nature. The brewer likes to tinker a bit with the recipes too, so even the regular brews can vary from batch to batch.

Food court. I kid you not. Still, service is keen and knowledgeable (three visits and I've only seen the one guy there). Beers are variable, but can be quite good. Overall worth a stop. Beers can also be found at the raucous Split Crow if the food court is closed.
