brentfeesh | This is almost as great a stop as the BrewKettle if you are heading to the Cleveland airport or have a long layover (really it’s a perfect stop for any Cleveland traveler). 8 MIN from rental car return! Quiet little neighborhood with a nice little brewery on the corner. Good atmosphere, quick and generally knowledgeable service. The beer selection was very good in my opinion and all the beers were drinkable to very good. The food looked, smelled and tasted great. Solid food and beer all the way around. I will be back!

Brigadier | A decent little stop on the west side of Cleveland, I’ve now been here twice. The food is your typical brewpub fare - nothing to get excited about but solid nonetheless. The atmosphere can be fun but once again don’t expect anything more than modern brewpub (bar in the middle, tables clustered around, view of the brewing area).
The taps can be hit or miss depending on the time you visit. The first time I was in I tried a decent pumpkin beer. The second was a milk stout which was disappointing. The trend I’m detecting is that the beers here aren’t going to be awful but neither are they amazing. This is your run of the mill neighborhood brewpub. If you’re going to the Brew Kettle and want to kill some time it might be worth a stop. On the other hand if you only have time to hit up one you’ll fare better down the road in Strongsville.

bkelley68 | Comfy, clean little brewpub on the square in Berea. Friendly, prompt service. Tasty and fresh seasonals. As mentioned by other raters, the beers have been very good since Erik has taken charge. I’ve always found the food to be light, tasty, and filling. Grat place to stop for pre/post Browns training camp visits!!!

argo0 | Neat space for a brewpub, though it does feel a bit confining for its narrowness. Plenty of beers to choose from, but none of them did much for me. Service was pleasant but a little slow. Good food.

| swatskee | The cornerstone has a great selection of bers on tap since the new brewer, Erik Rohschiller, has taken over. In october i had the pumpkin ale and it was out of this world. In December Erik has is christmas alr on tap and i must say it is the BEST christmas ale i have ever had. The food is also great and sitting next to the wood burning stove was like sitting in heaven.. This is a place you need to check out if you haven’t done so, and if you haven’t been there since Erik took over as brewer you should really get out there and rate it again.. Great turnover since changing owners!

crizay | Small little brewpub in downtown Berea. Nice old brick decor everywhere, pretty small is what I don’t like not a whole lot of seating small tables and a bar area, a couple plasma tv’s hanging up. Last time I went they had 8 on tap, the beer was good and a brewery in Berea is never a bad thing.

| liquidcrack | my visit was back in Jan, not to long after the grand opening. beer sampler was decent. rumor had it beer was sitting due to issues with a liquor permit delaying opening. menu was quite pricey for a bar that pretty much sits on a colllege campus. tables and seats are on top of each other, not much space to offer. BUT, possible return visit could happen

kujo9 | Located in Berea in the site of the old Quarryman Tavern, they’ve re opened this with a few modifications to the interior design. Right around the corner from BW College, the crowd is a mix of college students, local residents, and wandering beer lovers. The decor is dark wood tables with both ceramic tile & lamiate wood flooring. There are a few plasma flatscreen TV’s behing the bar, as well as a full view of the kitchen area. Golden tee golf provides some entertainment as do live bands/entertainment from time to time, and there is a fireplace to help warm yourself on a cold Cleveland winter night. Doug the brewer is very friendly and would love to hear what you think of his beers. We did not try the food on this trip, but unfortunately, the burning oil from the fryers was not exactly conducive to effectively rating beers. Very clean place, friendly wait staff. I’d go back again for beer, and to eat next time. THey also have cask conditioned ales every Thursday, but you gottta get there early since they are only 5 gallon releases.
