BigBeer45 | Stopped here this past Spring, Ron is friendly and helpful, there is a selection of singles on the shelves and in the coolers, many brews available that I cannot buy in Michigan, Moylans, Alesmith, Left hand and many more to chose from, if you are in the area I highly recommend you stop in for a visit.

Mr_Stitch | Linus_Stick turned me on to this place a few months ago and with out a doubt I drive up there from Pittsburgh every chance I get. They have a fantastic selection and they are only about an hour away from my house. Ron is without a doubt one of the nicest guys that works in a beer shop and also one of the most knowledgeable. I would have given them a perfect score but they aren’t close enough to my house to get a 20.

donteatpoop | I’ve been buying beer from this place for almost a year now and only recently glanced at the back of the store to discover that there was a little bar set up with some taps. Tonight I decided to sit down and have a glass. They had 6 beers on top, two of which were from Bells. Great prices and great service, not only that but the place had a great atmosphere as well. The guys who were apparently regulars were very kind and inviting and had a good sense of humor about them. I’ll definately be returning.

Naka | This place is awesome. There is no other way to say it. Ron knows his stuff and has an outstanding collection. He had things that I have never seen together in one place... and in Boardman, Ohio. Really, there is no place around Pittsburgh that comes close to matching this store. A great selection of not only great American craft stuff, but some hard to find things from overseas as well. A nice selection on tap as well. I will definitely return.

Nate | Took a trip over on 3/11 with Naka- about a two-hour drive and worth every mile! Ron (Nuts) was extremely attentive and helpful, and the selection was phenomenal: AleSmith, Founders, Mikkeller, Olfabrikken, Nils Oscar, Victory, DFH, Chouffe, Allagash, Rochefort ... the list went on and on. Prices, compared to Pittsburgh area, were a great bargain and more than made up for the gas to get there. It was very quiet on a Tuesday afternoon, and we were able to chat with Ron and enjoy some samples from his 6 taps. If you’re within 2-3 hours of this place, you MUST go. Big thanks to Ron for a great experience.

dankman38 | Nice, well lit, little store that uses the space provided very efficiently, which is good because it is just jam packed with some very nice beer and a little 6 tap tasting area. This place seemed to have a very positive vibe and everyone in there was very friendly and enthusiastic about beer not just the help the customers as well, it’s hard not to with the fantastic selection. Ron (the guy behind the counter) seems to be a real student of the beer and wine scene and the store shows it. I stopped in because I happened to be in the area and I think I will make a point to come back, I think it is well worth the drive.

Dogbrick | (Visited 10/2007): Vintage Estates is located in a strip mall on the corner of 224 and South Avenue in Boardman. Parking is plentiful in the lot.
There is a small gated patio that leads into the store. Upon walking in your senses are overwhelmed with beer shelves lining both sides of the store. Even better, there is a small bar tucked away in the rear of the store, featuring great beers.
The selection at this store is probably in the top 3 in the entire state. There is a wide variety available from regional brewers like Erie, Penn, GLBC, Thirsty Dog, Buckeye, Founder’s & Bell’s plus the best of the nationwide brewers like Stone, Rogue, DFH, Alesmith, etc. Furthermore, there is a great selection of imports particularly from Belgium and Germany. Plus there are 6 or 8 taps in the back of the store featuring great beers like Stone 11th (1 of 7 kegs in the STATE), Founder’s Breakfast Stout and Fort Collins Chocolate Stout to name a few. All of the beers are well-organized and well cared-for.
Service here is great. The people running the store know the beers and clearly care about the craft beer scene. They do tastings about once a quarter, and they happened to be in the middle of one during my visit.
Overall this beer store is an absolute must-visit for anyone in the northeastern part of the state (or in West PA).

| bejones | Best selection I have seen in Ohio. Owner seemed friendly and passionate about his product. I will definitely stop in any time I am near Boardman. Pricing is totally reasonable. Nice Place.

| KingMoomie | Since I started going to Vintage my appreciation for beer and wine has increased tenfold. Ron is so very knowledgeable about what he has in his store as well as what he will be getting in the near future. Every time I walk in there is something new to try which I love, and the taps in the back give me an opportunity to try beers on draft I never would have been able to anywhere else. The fact that there is a place like this in Boardman continues to amaze me.

joekfsu | If Ron served meals, I would have no reason to leave. Small 6 tap bar area with the proper glassware and excellent beers on tap. Check the website to see which beers he has on. His singles selection and knowledge of inventory is great.
