| Hophead22 | Very nice brewpub. Great location, right in Fountain Square. Nice big place, had about 8 beers on tap when we were there in 2000. Was there for the launch of rocktoberfest, got free samples , very cool. Great place to go before Reds games, within walking distance (did it three days in a row). Check it out when in town.

yobdoog | Went here on a night out with friends while visiting Cincinatti. We had dinner and drinks and of course took some growlers home. The food was awesome and delicous and the menu wa huge. So much to choose from we all ended up sharing and we had a great time. Fun atmosphere with a pub feel but very clean and huge. The beers were great and we got some samplers and had a few pints and it is a place I would visit in any city.

AllAboutStout | Placed right on Fountain Square in downtown Cincy it’s central to the entire downtown area. Only a couple blocks from my office I find myself here quite often. Standard brews for the most part with some seasonals that are worthy of a special trip every now and then. Food is decent, a little better than bar food. Their happy hour is worthy of a trip alone, especially if you’re a member of the mug club, $2 mugs of beer.

Brigadier | I stopped here in the hopes that it was different than the typical Rock Bottom but it is similar to the ones I’ve visited in Milwaukee and outside Chicago. There were five beers on tap so selection was limited but covered a nice range of styles. I had the Christmas ale which was decent. Prepare to pay dearly for your pints though - unless it is happy hour or a special they are $4.75 each. Food is on par with any other Rock Bottom which is to say large portions and solid meals.
If you are staying downtown like I was (across the street) it might be worth a visit. Otherwise I would drive across the river to Kentucky for some beer and drink it at home/in your hotel.

Prcaus | Was in Cincinnati on vacation so we swung through with a large party on a friday. Food was excellent, server was cute, warm, and engaging in conversation, beer was excellent. It was pretty laid back for a friday, but there is a bar area and a restaurant area. Overall, highly recommendable.

sliffy | Stopped in here a while back. Selection was typical of any other rock bottom that I’ve been to. Food was good as usual, had a steak sandwich. Parking at this place is awful, it was a bit of a hike in 90 degree weather. All that said, I enjoyed the visit.

illinismitty | This was the last stop on the pub crawl with Shigadeyo. The female bartender that served us was very nice and knowledgeable, gladly giving us free samples. The ambiance is predictable, very clean and trendy high-end chain brewpub. Nothing wrong with that. The three beers I had were very good. I did not eat. Parking seems to be a hassle (unless you want to pay) depending on what time you stop in. I would have no problem stopping by again to try some other beers and give their food a shot, depending on what seasonals/ non-house beers are online.

shigadeyo | The one thing I hate about Rock Bottom is its location: right in the middle of downtown Cincinnati right on Fountain Square. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a scenic spot, but parking sucks (although there is a parking garage right underneath Fountain Square) - I HATE paying for parking! That said, Rock Bottom Cincinnati is actually a pretty nice place. It might be a "typical" brewpub, but the bar is nice with the serving vessels showcased behind it (rather than the usual bar mirror that most bars typically have that I also loathe) and the main brewing area right in the center of the restaurant. They have 8 taps and 2 casks pulls. Typically they have about 5 mainstay brews and 2-3 specialty/season brews that rotate almost monthly. They also have various Happy Hour Specials, Daily Deals, and other events (keg tappings, etc.). Also, the FREE Mug Club is also a nice thing since it’s free, you get a bigger glass of beer each time, and you can get free stuff (t-shirts, etc.). They have a full menu, but I think that the food is only okay to good for the price. The beer is reasonable (about $4/500 mL mug for Mug Club members, non-Happy Hour), but the food is a bit higher in price ($10-$12 for a burger). The bar maids/waitresses are pretty cool and they will chat and actually know somethings about the beers. Beer samplers are available as are growlers to go...

| BeerInMyBlood | It’s a franchised brew pub. They might as well not brew the beer there because it’s the same beer that you are going to get at every other Rock Bottom you go to (Crosley Field Pale Ale = Wrigley Field Pale Ale = Fenway Park Pale Ale). That said, the beers are decently made, the food goes beyond that of most independent brew pubs and the service tends to be very good.

pivo | Typical US brewpub: pub grub, TVs everywhere, wood furnishings. In then end this has the charm of a chain restaurant..because it is. Nice food, though. Had a great portion of seared tuna. Bad beer... ’nuff said.
