Dogbrick | (Visited 07/2007): Visited this place for the first time months ago but the crowds have not died down much since then. Located near Polaris/I-71, parking in the front and rear is scarce most nights.
The inside is spacious and pleasing to the eye, with lots of brick and windows. The garage-door patio is kind of cool too. The bar is located on the right side, and is standing-room on weekends. Restaurant seating takes up the rest of the place.
BJ’s serves around 8 different beers at any given time, from lighter fare like a Kölsch to the Tatonka Stout. They also made a cider and their own root beer. The beers are above average for the most part, with the specials like Lasto’s Oatmeal Stout being pretty good. They also offer craft beers on draught like Arrogant Bastard if brewpub beers aren’t your thing. In bottles there is a pretty good selection too, with a good representation of Belgians in particular.
Service here is good. Bartenders and servers know the beer pretty well. Service is dinged for them forcing you to buy a new growler rather than refilling though.
BJ’s food is really good, if a bit pricey. Pizza is probably the biggest draw.
Overall, BJ’s is a welcome addition to the brewpub scene. Despite the fact that they are a chain and don’t actually brew their beer onsite, it is great to have a place outside of the downtown area that represents craft beer.

sliffy | Stopped in around dinner time on a Wednesday night. The place was fairly busy at the time. Service was a bit slow, but nothing too bad. The waitress knew the beer menu pretty well. Got the sampler, the beer is pretty average, but what can you really expect from a chain brew pub. Food was pretty good, chili nachos were solid, and the "deep dish" pizza was quite good. It’s a decent place, but it seems that they don’t rotate beers there very often, only one seasonal, so I don’t see myself going back very often.

BabyJoe692 | Had a large number of their beers, representing many styles, on tap. All were good and the food was tastey also. The waiter had a complete knowledge of the beers as well as good pairing options. I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m on that side of town.

Tmoney99 | Easy to find location off I-71 and in front of mall with good parking in front. Clean corporate inside with wood bar and tables. For show only brewing equipment behind glass at the end of the bar. Freindly service from Nina with good knowledge of selection of 12 taps. All beers average drinkable with good selection of styles. Good food menu of starters, sandwiches and pizza and lunch pizza had very good flavor. I enjoyed the visit.

BeerVirgin72 | Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon...It is newly opened so I expected some snags. They were very very busy, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes...The service from the wait staff was excellent.
Service at the bar was VERY VERY SLOW...We didnt get our beers until AFTER our dinner arrived...That was the ONLY disappointment here. We were told the reason was only one bar tender was on. Which is rather unfortunate during a grand opening of sorts...
The beers were pretty good for a chain brew pub. I highly enjoyed the Jeremiah Red. And my husband enjoyed the Prianah Pale Ale.
The food was fabulous! The deep dish pizza was the best I have had outside of Chicago. Husband got the Lasagna and he really liked it...We will definitely hit this place again..

OhioDad | Newly opened in Columbus. My wife and I stopped in to check this place out. Big parkinglot located in front of a mall offers ample parking. When you walk in you are greeted by a large very open restaurant with a fair sized bar. A giant bigscreen TV with 4 separate pictures is behind the bar. Banner signs grace the walls advertising their different beers. The taplist includes around 8 of their beers and 3 or 4 guest taps which included on this occasion Arrogant Bastard and LaChoffe. There are bottles of chimay and other belgians available as well. As for the menu it is enormous and almost overwhelming. Anything from Pizza which is their specialty, to pasta, to sandwiches, to salads. I highly recommend the bruchetta appetizer.. It was delicious. The beers here are mostly just average. Nothing that you will really say wow that is bad! But nothing that is particularly great either. However I was impressed with that Tatonka Stout. I thought it had very good flavor and would actually recommend that one.. The atmosphere here is pretty casual.. It leaned a little to the fancy side for a brewpub but where it is located that is understandable. I have to say my experience there was a positive one and I will certainly return for another visit..
