TomDecapolis | Went here for lunch while in Lakewood visiting some friends. Hands down an amazing feel/decor to this place. Tons of craft beer stuff all over the place, their logo had that rock n roll/tattoo design going on. Menu was printed on the back of old record albums and their focus in terms of food...grilled cheese. Specialty grilled cheese that is. I got this Firecracker Grilled Cheese that came with this nice spicy chicken, peperjack cheese, pineapple and avocado. It was hands down the best and most unique grilled cheese I even had. Did I mention it was served on huge thick slices of great bread! They had a big craft beer draft selection as well as a big bottle list. Focusing on some Ohio brews along with beers from Bear Republic, Weyerbacher, Victory, Bells among others. Loved this place!

fiver29 | I had lunch at Melt today. I stopped around 1:00 PM and there were no seats available at any table or at the bar. No one seemed to be assisting anyone with seating arrangements. Was a very small place and I was standing over a table eating because there was no wait area. That said, this place rocked! It has a very cool vibe and the atmosphere was made up of mainly 30-something professionals with a mix of everyone else in between. Once waited on the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. 11/12 drafts are craft beers which is great. The Miller Lite must be for the ladies looking for a glass of water. Combo of 12 oz and 22 oz bottles behind the bar was impressive. The sandwich was huge on Texas style toast and was very tasty. Good food and good beer make for a great combo anytime. Great little place if you don’t mind waiting.

BeerVirgin72 | Stopped in here on a Saturday night. They were packed of course. The servers were very friendly and tried to get us seated, but it was just too crowed. Very neat atmosphere inside. The beer selection was more then adequate for me. I didnt get to try the food, but I will be back. It looked awesome!!

MikeF | A great addition to the beer scene in Cleveland. Conveniently located near Rozi’s and Buckeye, Melt adds some unique food and great beer to the mix. The sandwiches are great and very large. High quality ingredients all around. Small, but cozy. Crowded, but we only waited about 10mins for a seat. Service is just ok. I think that they are overwhelmed by the crowds arriving at melt. You would think they would love the increased business, but numerous staff seemed stressed and downright annoyed being so busy. Nevertheless, they got the job done. They will need to sort something out (more staff, rearrange tables who knows) to keep up with the increased business. Certainly worth the stop - great food!. The beer list is not the best in town, but when combined with the great food this is one of the best beer bars in town.

dankman38 | Wow, I walked in and people seemed to know what I needed as far as seating and beer. The hostess/host were friendly and happy to oblige, the bartenders were knowledgeable and quick, the food and beer was GOOD; but, our server was way lackluster, she made us feel like we were a thorn in her side and made a bigger deal of splitting our check than she should have. (at the same time they were pretty busy so I won’t complain too much).

crizay | Small little bar located on Detroit & Warren. Went at around 4 so there were seats although at times it somehow went from packed to dead all over again. $1 off draft beers for happy hour, Expedition Stout for $3 a pint. The beer list was good although there isn’t too many choices but it fits the size of the place which is pretty damn small. Both our sandwiches ruled and couldn’t be finished they were huge, the coleslaw that came with it kicked ass also you definitely get what you pay for. Waitress was extremely nice, beer was good, food was good. I’ll be back. Update: they have added about 12 more taps, are in the process of expanding.

| JMFS | Home of the most fantastically delicious but artery clogging sandwiches in Cleveland! Indulge, you won’t regret it. Yesterday I inhaled a "Municipal Stadium Magic"; a jumbo brat with kraut, peppers and american cheese on monstrous texas toast. Paired with a Ruination, the bold flavors made for a savory combination. Their beer list is great; broken down by country and state, with some tempting offerings (3F’s Dreadnaught was certainly that, but at $13.50, a little rich for my blood). I have to say, the wait at this spot has become extensive whenever I’ve been of late. The layout is such that they can’t have very many tables, and with the enjoyable atmosphere and tremendous beers, people like to stick around. So, go off hours or be prepared to stand and wait (but if you do, it’s worth it).

bkelley68 | Great little spot in downtown Lakewood. Wide selection of bottles and a dozen quality drafts. The food is tasty, but a touch too rich for me to eat very often. The staff is friendly quite friendly. If you make it to Cleveland, combo a stop at Rozi’s and Melt for a great beery afternoon!

RagallachMC | A guy I work with has been talking this place up to me for awhile, so I stopped in for lunch the other day. It was late for lunc so there were only a few other folks besides me there. Sat at the bar and had a couple of nice beers. Draft list is pretty good with a GL offering, a couple of Bells, and a couple of other nice selections. To bad they waste space with some pale lagers. Bottled beer selection was good. I love sandwiches, so picking something was tough. Food was good and fresh, even though they overcooked my burger. All in all, a nice stop that’s just down the street from Rozi’s

joet | Really nice bottle selection. Good, heavy portions at good prices even if the food was a bit too robust for my palate. Staff was generally good and prompt although none of the folks that helped me could have offered informative comments or suggestions to customers. They’ve gone non-smoking and this is a good thing. Seating is limited and we were booted for not eating and dirnking enough fast enough by some very confrontational and graceless staff (the Asian guy with tats). Still one of my favorite places in Cleveland.
