8/23/2007 8:45:28 PM, thursday, august 23, 2007 Hands down the best beer selection in the Canton area. The beer wall which is all room temperature features La Choffe, Coopers, Hebrew, and the Dogfishhead lineup. The Hebrew Coney Island Lager was in on my last visit.
6/7/2007 12:52:05 PM, thursday, june 07, 2007 I’ve been here a few times. the beer selection is good if your looking for micros and imports but none of it is cold. everything they sell is available as a single to try but be careful and check the dates - if any - the last time i was in they had some paulaners i wanted to pick up but they were all over a year old (09/05 being the oldest). on the plus side if your looking for glassware they are very good in this area, some with logos most without. i found some 20oz english pub glasses - no logos - for $2.99 which is the cheapest i’ve seen. overall it is a decent place to find new brews to try just be sure to check the dates.
4/20/2004 10:05:31 AM, tuesday, april 20, 2004 This World market is similar to any other one I have been to. It is in the Westfield/Belden Village area of Canton. It is in a strip mall with other chains like Jo-Anne Etc and H.H. Gregg so there is plenty of parking.
World Market is a great store. It is like Pier 1 but with alcohol. They have a selection of wines and beers from all over the world. The best thing is their &quo;beer endcap&quo;, which allows to to mix and match single bottles from pretty much any of the 6-packs they carry. What a wonderful way to sample beers!
You can also find some Belgian brews like Corsendonk in larger bottles. Regionals like Great Lakes are usually in stock as well. All in all, this is a one-stop place to try 50+ beers without having to buy more than one bottle at a time. While you’re there, you can get a chair from Japan and some placemats from India.
The service here is decent. You can usually find someone in the beer/wine section of the store who knows what they are talking about.
