notalush | I was in the area on business yesterday, and I’ve always wanted to check this town out, so I figured I would stop in here for a beer - considering the nature of the town, I was a bit surprised to see that it seemed like any other old midwest bar - the vibe was relaxed, though, and the bartender was attentive - the tap list was nothing to rave about (some standard imports, one or two Bells, Arrogant Bastard), but for a village pub it was nice - about half of the patrons appeared to be Antioch students (go figure) - in short, it’s a good place to get beer if you’re a local, but there is no reason to make a trip here from anywhere else.

| JSturm | For a bar in a village of 4000 people Peach’s is an excellent place to find a good beer. No bar in Dayton comes close and I can’t think of any in Cincinnati that at do either. There’s almost always at least one Bell’s on tap and usually more than one. Great Lakes is typically present as well. I’d say there is a Unibroue beer, most often Maudite or Trois Pistoles, about half the time. 20 taps total and just 3 or four are reserved from macrobrews like Bud Lite, Mich Amber Bock and Guiness. Food is standard bar fare.

Maddog | How can you have an overall rating of 8 with other ratings this low? Simple. The Dayton area blows when it comes to beer bars, and Peach’s is the best. The food is awful, eat at Ha ha’s Pizza next door, and the service for someone who looks and acts normal leaves a lot to be desired. With that being said, the beer is good, if not great almost all the time.

temporrari | The simple fact is this, they’ve got some good stuff of tap here. @ the time of my visit: Avery Hog Heaven, 3FFF RtheB and AK, Left Hand Milk Stout, Two Hearted Ale, Arrogant Bastard, Leghumper Porter and more. The service could be more friendly, but it wasn’t terrible. Didn’t have any food but what I saw and smelled made me a bit hungry. If you’re in town for some reason, stop on in.
