mabless (1), Edmond, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | January 4, 2008 This place is gone forever...bulldozed over. Too bad.
The one at Bricktown is still going, but I preferred to go to this place. | | ¾ (649), Boulder, Colorado | | January 25, 2004 [ Updated February 16, 2006 ] This location is apparently closed as of February 2006 for remodeling
This is a small shack-like building from the outside, with a small wooden patio next to the parking lot. The inside has a British-pub atmosphere, with a few large couches and coffee tables mixed among the regular tables and bar stools. The beer selection is not expansive, but the taps generally span all styles and are rotated quite often. I was able to find an Abbey Dubbel here that had no ratings from the US before, and it was something I had never heard of before, so who knows how they got that one (sneaked a keg?). Expect to find a few Rogue products, a few Belgians, including a Lindemans fruit lambic, and a few seasonals. The only downside is the high amount of cigarette and cigar smoke in such a small area. Also, they have Blue Moon White available, which isn’t found anywhere else in Oklahoma. | | Terminus (145), Las Cruces, New Mexico | | January 12, 2004 the best bar in Oklahoma by far, maybe the best in the great plains. 110 beers on tap with lots of bottles. great food also. I met acrodizer here on my trip to the southwest in may 2003. Good times!! |
