I am fortunate that this is essentially my neighborhood bar. Excellent mostly Pacific Northwest taplist that changes rapidly. Bottle list is phenomenal. Saraveza is also a bottle shop so all bottles have two prices - one for drinking it there, one for taking it away. Service is ridiculously friendly and they are always happy to pour tastes. Food is Wisconsin-centric and not really my kind of stuff though the pickled deviled eggs and Chex Mix are tasty. I don’t go for the food, I go for the beer and they never disappoint!

This is a seriously cool place. The tap selections are augmented by great bottle choices. The food is flashback to the 50’s but done well. If I lived near here, I would be broke.

Saturated with every hipster cliche imaginable. The whole PNW macro getup is really not that clever anymore - Rainer and Oly swag everywhere. Grossly overdone and pretentious. The most concentrated hipster douchebaggery I’ve seen in any Portland bar that fancies itself beer-focused. Beer list is respectable, there are usually a couple of seasonals and perhaps one or two special release/small batch/first keg things. Food is soup and pasties, nothing exciting but again it has hipster cache so people fawn all over it. What happened to north Portland? The hipster douchbags have destroyed any authenticity the area once had.

Great little joint with a cool mojo. It’s selection is not huge, but well chosen. I took off points because the prices are not listed on the bottles and the prices are a bit high. But, the staff was nice and you can sample 5 drafts for $7. It’s funny, they have some exotic and complex beers here, but there’s a big neon Old Style sign and some "slummin" beers on tap. Perhaps they don’t take themselves too seriously, which is good.

I’m excited about this place opening in Portland. Great vibe and ambience with ton of beer memorabilia on the walls. I have good food, their sausage links, soup and salads rock -- I have yet to have one of the pasties. The service is great, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They usually have about eight or ten great brews on tap (they even got a keg of Consecration), and a huge bottle list that can fill anyone’s needs.

Klein stool and counter bar filled with signs from defunct Wisconsin breweries. Limited menu, pasties, US Midwest bar snacks. Extensive bottle menu. About 10 taps. Service very friendly. Waitress said "I’m sorry we have no Castle or Lion. SAB Miller isn’t selling that here." She recognised my Seffrican accent. Very well prepared. Not expensive. Worth a return trip.
