Tucked away but not too far from Shangy’s, an excellent looking restaurant in an old farmhouse. Have to go through the restaurant to get to the bar located in the basement. The bar is small and can only hold about 8 people with tables set around the sides and a lounge are set right near the bar. Friendly staff and knowledgable. 5-6 beers on draft including one handpump. Was very pleased to find a 1999 Bigfoot on Draught! Bottle selection is huge and well organized and descriptive. They also have a vintage list with around 100 different bottles named. Anchor OSA going back to the 90’s, Bigfoot going back to the early 90’s, many years of Celebration, Rogue Old Crustacean, Fullers Vintage going back to ’97, very old bottles of Chimay Blue and so on. Not as many lambics and geuze on the vintage list as I would have liked but still a very fine selection. Only downside is the prices on the vintages can be a bit too much, but still it is a bar and where else are you going to get some of those vintages. I didn’t have the food but have heard great things. Worth the stop if in the Lehigh Valley.
