| MikeF (205), Cleveland, Ohio | | February 16, 2011 Somewhat dingy bar with a larger dining area of to the side. They have a few - 8 or so taps. None of them were that great when I was they. 50% were macros. The bottle list is o.k. The prices, however, are very good. The burgers are very very big. Even bigger than I expect and they are a good price. Big food portions, average taste/quality. A mix of helpful and clueless workers. Not too far of the highway, but probably a bad idea in snowy weather. | deadstroke (1), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | September 20, 2007 One of my favorite places on earth! Great food, Great beer selection and very friendly knowledgable staff! | | cheapdark (120), Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania | | November 18, 2006 [ Updated July 8, 2011 ] Nice cozy place. Typical beaver county bar with an interesting layout in the dining area. Tabletops are pretty cool. Food is great and plentiful. I had the fried fish, try it. Be careful going there on Fridays, the wait is terrible. It is common to wait an hour to get a seat. | | f351c4v (77), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania | | March 18, 2006 Great local hangout. 10 taps available, standards like Guinness and Boddingtons are accompanied by a rotating list of micros. Bottles are mainly micros, some UK offerings, and a couple Belgians. Prices are dirt cheap, Dogfish Head < $3, most nitro cans around $3, and a tall Franziskaner under $4 are a few examples. Come hungry(the portions are HUGE) and come early, bar tends to fill up quickly in the evenings, although there’s a large dining room downstairs. |
