About a 5 minute drive from my girlfriend’s house. Eight of their beers on tap plus Amstel and Guinness. Their beers are good enough. Nothing that will blow your mind but worth trying. Very spacious, lot’s of seating, nice decor. I’ll be coming back next time I’m in town for sure.

Easy to find on the beer map. Very nice atmosphere. Took my wife, daughter and a friend to this palce. Nice selection of food but my pizza was just above averge. Had a nice time. You can choose between the noisy area or the quiet. Nice sampling technique, had 8-3 oz samples for $7. In a seedy part of philly, we parked on the side of the street but valet parking is available for $10. I wasn’t able to see the brew tanks as with many brewpubs we’ve been to recently. Reservations reccomended.

I’ll start by saying that this place has a good atmosphere, a wide selection of beers, and decent food. The beers tend to fare on the pretty basic side. On my last visit there was nothing heavier than an APA, which was disappointing. They seem to enjoy adding fruit to any lager they can brew up, and I am sure it is because they believe their target market is the trendy hipsters that frequent Manayunk at any moment.
So, if you are truly a beer geek, head up two blocks to the Flat Rock Saloon, where you can find hundreds of micros in a beer geek type of atmosphere.

This is a huge, beautiful joint, dark yet well-lit (?) with tons of brick and stonework of varied colors and textures creating a sprawling cavern of a brewpub with a jazzy feel. Check out the virtual tours on their website to get a fairly accurate portrayal of the surroundings. Nice.
Service was oddly lacking on a not-so-busy afternoon... our bartender was accommodating but our waitress was pouty and the hostess seemed put-off when we asked to purchase growlers and bottles on the way out. Regardless, they did have a nice beer selection on tap of good quality. Their food was decent and fairly priced. Overall, our visit was enjoyable and I would definitely recommend a stop.

Not sure how this is considered philadelphia. it’s a 25 minute train ride from center city. fairly easy to get to from the train stop...about 10 minute walk. This place is huge on the inside. neat, somewhat trendy decor. Brewing equipment displayed behind the bar. The selection of their beers was very diverse and some a lot better than others. I like brewpubs that attempt bold styles like triple, imperial stout, grand cru all on tap at once, and they are done well. Highlights were the three-eyed trout stout, crand cru, and their normal pale ale is outstanding. the other beers were mediocre brewpub quality. waitress was cold, and impolite. food selection was huge and what i had was pretty good. I wood definitely go back. They bottle some of their own beer but in clear bottles. how retarded. Basically, the Flossmoor Station of Philadelphia.

Nice place right on the Sku-kill, food is pretty good and the staff friendly. Decent enough selection, with 8 beers on tap. Grabbed a growler of the 3-eyed trout stout and was not disappointed. Nice place to stop in and grab a few drinks and a bite........................

Eight beers on tap and I was given a sample of all eight for only %5.50! Sweet. Service knowledgeable and familiar with beer. Space was large and located in the cute, Pottery Barnish town of Manayunk which in Native American evidently stands for "send your Yuppies here!" Beers were light and mainstream except for the notable and quirky barleywine and porter. Enjoyable. As an aside, there’s a back deck with a view of the putrid, festeringly green Schuykill river and a decaying railway bridge that offers some grim reminders of Philly’s rustbelt past.

Neat place. It is actually HUGE, as the restaraunt has an attached deck which is enormous. The beer I had here was excellent. Looking forward to going back.

I really enjoyed my visit to Manayunk. Set on the river, they put on some excellent beers and the food couldn’t have been better. Of my many stops in Philly, I’d have to rate this one #1.

Manayunk has a split personality. It functions as a brew pub and also as a mainstream bar/restaurant. I was there for a beer dinner. Great atmosphere, an old stone building on the Schuylkill River. In the warmer months you can sit on a deck with a nice view of the river. Selection of beers run more on the lighter side, but enjoyable nonetheless. The brewer is making seasonal beers and had a high octane barleywine on draft. The vibe I got during my visit is an interest by the chef to do more beer and food pairings. If you live in the area or are visiting Philadelphia it’s worth a trip to Manayunk Brewing Company.
