You can’t ask for much more from a chain pub. They have a great selection of micros and imports. They also have a local pub club which some of the chains seem to be doing to give it more of a local feel. The food is also pretty good for chain fair - mostly sandwiches and BBQ. It definitely has that mass-produced feel to it but it could be worse.

Stopped here on a Friday afternoon to give it a try. The place sits in the middle of suburban metropolis, and bears all the resemblance of a big box restaurant. Souless from the outside. The inside is very "sports bar-ish," having very little in the way of original character or unique appeal. Dark, sterile, and pretty much empty. Many beers are on tap, however most of them are variations on the same thing (i.e., Stella Artois and Heineken). I had two good beers on tap (Victory Hop Devil and Brooklyn East India Pale Ale). However, the former was irrevocably ruined by a dirty tap line that infused it with spaghetti-like off-flavors. The bottle selection included some cool stuff, but nothing out-of-this-world. The food was pretty much standard T.G.I.Fridays stuff. Nothing unique. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, and would work in a pinch, but not really worth seeking out.

Hey cool, mcnight road and well hidden. A place off the main drag around and behind a strip mall. I visited this place on the ’first day of autum beer N. Pgh. beer tour’ of 2008. Tuesday niight is any tap for $2 a pint. Pretty big open place and its very friendly. 25 surprizing taps and I had two beers here I never heard of before. Interesting cresent shaped bars and this place is multi room and big, lots of space for yer personal area. Needless to say I was expecting some sort of sports bar but was pleasantly crest liften when I walked in. Didn’t have food this time but I heard it was good. $7 for a glass of import beer.

Nice clean suburban bar that a lot of people frequent afterwork. Food’s good but beer selection sucks and is pricey. Nothing special.

OK beer selection, but nothing to write home about, even for the average beer hunter. North Hills-esque prices, average food, but plenty of gaming options. How’s that $9 11.2oz Chimay? Staff knowlegde is also limited. Definitely not a ’must-see’ in Pittsburgh, but it’s liveable if you end up there, just bring the Visa.
