This is a nice small quaint place. They had a decent seletion of beers to choose from. There were about 11 plus a root beer. I had a sampler of about 7 and all where quite good. We had sandwiches for lunch which were also quite good. A must try if in the area.

Housed in the ground floor of what was the first governor’s mansion in PA. The main floor of the building is a chiropractor’s office. We walked down some steps next to the building and walked through a small garden into the bar area. There are a few tables in the bar area located near a large fireplace. We ate in the dining room, which is adjacent to the bar. Nice, cozy, small room. It feels like an old inn, in a warm, comforting way. The service was very attentive and prompt, and the food was great. I think they had 12 beers on tap the day we were there. A bit out of the way if you are travelling through PA (its about 30-40 minutes south of I-80 depending on traffic) but if you can get there, its worth the diversion.

The lower floor of what very obviously used to be a house. It’s a very small-scale operation, but well executed. The beers are decent and the food is interesting. There wasn’t much going on while I was there maybe one or two other customers. But it was early afternoon, so I’m not sure what happens there at night. Pretty cool place.

Very quaint, hometown-feel brewpub sitting off the main road in downtown Selinsgrove. Aside from the seating outside (not really of much use when we went), there are two main rooms on the lower level: the entry room by the bar and another adjacent room with eight more tables self-seating, the service was a bit slow (very slow), though mostly due to the post-Thanksgiving crowd. Seems more like a renovated house than a standalone brewpub, everyone seems to be familiar with one another in this town, in a very pleasant, cheek-kissing way. It was really nice to see. The beers were fantastic, twelve total, and the sampler platter ($9!) gets you a 4oz pour or so of each and every one of them. Crazy amount of great beer for $9. Definitely worth some time on a long afternoon, and the roasted vegetable wrap special was excellent. Try to get there at a slow time.

This place is amazing. By far the best brew pub I have been to. The food and beer were very inexpensive and delicious. The beer selection is excellent and the quality is way better than most brew pubs. The growlers are great too.

Had a great experience. Stopped for lunch on our way through the area, and were able to have our dog join us at an outside table. Food was excellent, as was the beer. Took 2 growlers along with us. Overall, very relaxing and enjoyable.

Fantastic little cafe-style brewery with a dark, crowded bar room and a relaxing but small outdoor seating area. Crowd was all locals, mix of young and old. Food menu looked great but I didn’t eat, instead I had three of their beers, of course the kriek as well as the SNAFU IPA and the Baltic Porter... these two were nothing compared to the kriek... I feel like driving the 90-or-so miles back out just for that.

Off the beaten track on the 15 North, this place requires a commitment of time and good travelling weather. It can be combined with a pub tour up to Williamsport. There is ample nearby parking, just look out for the number which I think would be hard to see at night. There were local alki’s hanging out outside when I arrived, but locals by the time I left. Inside were the regulars, whom are all glad to see each other. There were 9 taps, only their own, and 2 casks with nothing on. The place consists of a few rooms in an old house, one loaded with games which is a nice touch. The prices were reasonable for drink or food. Server was a mother hen who knew naught of beer but that there are hops in it. The beers wre above average, there was almost no info around, and you had to read the tap yourself, a little sign over it in the back.

What a great place to eat and drink. Old colonial style building. Basement tavern, cozy with old fireplace and wooden tables. Trendy but at the same time, there were families there too. Menu is simple but the food was excellent. Service was great and knowledgeable. Beers were really nice and overall this is a must stop if you’re in central Pennsylvania. If only a place like this were to be found in more small PA towns!

Possibly one of the finest micro brew establishments that I have encountered around the world. Ambiance is colonial, the people are of the finest kind, and the brews have a personality all their own, directed by a skilled pair of hands. Settle on in and enjoy the savory ride.
