| vze1mhay (12), Stroudsburg, | | June 16, 2009 Good German food and atmosphere. Usually have all Spaten’s on tap and a few others as well. Located inside the Lehigh Valley Mall, It is a vaforite oasis for My wife and I. | | Birdiebeagle (39), Perkasie, Pennsylvania | | June 10, 2009 I was in the mall so I checked it out. It is not a bad place for beer. Not the best selection but definetly not the worst either. They have some decent beers there. They also package some nice gift kits with beer and a glass, some with golf balls etc. They also sell some baked good and have a place to eat. For a shop in the mall it isn’t bad. | | jmm635 (35), Havertown, Pennsylvania | | October 20, 2008 [ Updated July 24, 2009 ] Nice little German place inside the Lehigh Valley mall. I love the brats in the restaurant, and the hot dogs are great for on-the-go snacking. Really nice selection of brews here. Worth the trip if you are near the mall. It’s a little overpriced, but you pay for the ability to buy single bottles, unlike buying cases at nearly every other distributor in the state. | DandyWolfFloyd (5), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | March 25, 2008 Very good. Love German food this is for you. I like the selection it’s in a mall so it’s kind of unusual to find it there, but makes for a very nice convienence. I enjoy going here every time I go to the mall. | | jason (43), Easton, Pennsylvania | | March 10, 2008 Located within the Lehigh Valley Mall, this German bier garten is a nice little place to get some pretty good German and American food. I love their wursts but what I really love about this place is it’s beer selection. Half of the tap list is thier standard german beers - Franz and Spaten. The other half is seasonals from Germany and Belgium and some American Micros. The bottle list is broken down by country and I can usually find something that I never had before. The U.S. Micros list includes HOTD, Bells, Smuttynose, Thirsty Dog, Hoppin Frog and Hoppocket Ale and Pils plus many more. They have a seperate shop attached to the side where people can get food to go for their lunch breaks or whatever. This si where the bottle shop is and while the selection is decent, the prices are not. I have seen Port brewing bottles going for double for what I can find in the area. Nice selction of glassware but overall this part of the place is overpriced. |
