Nice brewpub that was clean and had lots of fermentors and such all around. The service was excellent, our server was very helpful. Great beer and food selection. The food was all right but lacked flavor. The beer on the other hand was very good. Overall a great place for beer, maybe not so much for food. We got some corked and caged 750ml to go. They also have some of the coolest tap handles I’ve seen.

I made a few wrong turns and navigated a few one-way streets to get here, but finally parked a few blocks away. The inside was OK, a non-descript fairly narrow room with tanks near the bar, a back section with tables, and a middle section with hightops and tables. I sat at the bar and was the only one there at the bar, so my service score may be skewed high. The sampler was 8 strong, and there were two selections in bottles. The beers ranged from decent to very good, and the bottled Belgian IPa was awesome. The food was above average but not great. I had a decent burger, sub-par French onion soup, and a bready onion ring that tasted like crap. The bartender, a fairly young guy, was very knowledgable and friendly, and I would definitely go here again. Worth a trip, but not as good as Otto’s.

the bullfrog brewpub is very bright and comfortable...lots of natural light, bright colors and a warm homey feeling. has a long bar and a number of tables...live jazz playing at sunday brunch made it feel like a coffee shop. my server was very friedly but had far too many tables to handle them all efficiently so service was a bit slow. there were about 8 beers on tap and two available in bottles for takeout...they tap special beers on busier nights. the menu was simple but exciting with everything from omelets and pancakes to wings and burgers. i had a burger with bleu chz andc onion rings that was large and juicy. prices were pretty reasonabe.

This place was certainly interesting. Right as you walk in the door there is a mashtun and a brewkettle to your right. Long thin interior with several different types of seating. The service was slightly slow but was made up for by good beers and excellent food. Our waitress didn’t seem to know a whole lot about beer but another one of the employees was a full on beer geek. He kept stopping by out table telling us to try this beer or asking if we have had that. Really nice guy. They also have a couple guest taps several bottles of guest beers but they are a bit pricey, like $22 for a bottle of Lost Abbey Serpents Stout. Definitely worth a revisit though.

Nice feel, good beer selection. The barleywine was my favorite, but they seem to go through it pretty quickly. Service was a little slow, though, which was a wee bit annoying.

Visited on Sunday, 7/5/09. I’m glad I finally got to visit Bullfrog, after sampling some of their bottles and a number of their draft offerings at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown the past few years. The draught list was a bit sparse on the day I visited; 3 of the standard offerings and the "kegs gone wild" selection had run out over the Independence Day weekend. The beers that I got to try were very enjoyable. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was very good, and my fiance enjoyed her po boy sandwich. Service was attentive enough, but the place wasn’t that busy. My future in-laws are moving to Williamsport, so I will definitely visit again.

Stopped by for Frambozen release. This is a cool building and a very cool setup. I’d love to come back and enjoy it when things are a little less wild. As is, tap list was good, prices on bottles are high, and service was just OK (but it was pretty crazy, so I’m cutting them some slack.)

Maybe it is Williamsport’s remote location or that W. 4th feels like it could have been plucked from NYC’s upper west side with the added bonus of green hills looming nearby. Anyway, really enjoyed getting to and visiting this one. A little cramped with ample light rustic wood and metal throughout, and of course green everywhere. Service has been quite slow and rather cold every time I’ve been here, but the bartenders know their stuff and were using first names with some of the guests. 8-9 taps, plus 4-5 in bottles from a small bar-side cooler. The menu looked standard but my sandwich was pretty fresh, perhaps a little pricey. The taps are $5 and bottles unfortunately $15+, though they offer a restricted $7/7 beer sampler. My biggest complaint is the small size of the bar, seating only 10-12 people, but otherwise, I really liked this place and will definitely head back.

Probably my favorite place during my Central PA tour. Nice open bar and restaurant. Service was pretty good and the food above average. Nice selection of draft beer and bottles. Seems like it would be a cool place to hang out regardless of time of day or company.

This place was really great. All of their beers were solid. I love the Kegs Gone Wild idea, as most small brewpubs like this (that I have been to) aren’t willing to do anything sour or funky. I would really like to get up there at some point to have some of these beers kegged. The food I had here was pretty solid... nothing spectacular, but good grubbing food. I love the atmosphere, which is kind of a hipster meets hippie with a lot of mirrors? It just felt like a fun place to be. I had good service and a good time. It was definitely worth the 3-hour trip.
