| larsga (101), Oslo, Norway | | September 6, 2007 Very nice cellar place, divided into a pub (noisy) and a restaurant (quiet). The restaurant was very pleasant, with good service (despite the waiters watching a soccer game) and very good food. The beers are quite good, if not outstanding. Overall the best beer place in Krakow. | | Fin (68), Merton, England | | September 26, 2006 Found the beer and atmosphere in this place to be very good when I went In Jan 05 and previously in May 03. They normally have about 3-4 of their own beers which can be served in long tubes for you to pour at your own leisure. | Pedro_snr (1), Kilmarnock, Scotland does not count | | September 24, 2006 Food and beer were both acceptable, if not great, but the music was way too load and meant that we did not stay as long as intended. | | rickgordon (30), Göteborg, Sweden | | September 18, 2006 Lousy food, I got a plate of frozen vegetables. Decent beer. A place for youngsters with loud music. | | mowerbyte (18), Aberystwyth, Wales | | June 20, 2006 Very disappointed - music volume was at disco levels, spoiling what would otherwise be a great location. | | Nekronos (35), Xalapa, Mexico | | April 28, 2006 Veyr nice place, but Poles tend to see people strange, that is the only annoying thing. Besides that, evrything is nice, the beer, the place and the service. | | KUEric (72), Chevy Chase, Maryland | | March 2, 2006 I visited this place while studying abroad in Italy. The atmoshpere was great, as was the atmoshpere of all of Krakow (a MUST visit for anyone going to Europe if possible). It was underground in a basment, with large rock walls, and wood pillars. A very vibrant young college aged crowd. Walking distance to the main square. The beer selection (I can’t exactly recall) wasn’t great, but they were of prety good quality. We had a couple of giraffes, towers, tubes, whatever you want to call them. I remeber trying the dunkel and enjoying it, but don’t remember the other beers (went a lot of places in the few nights in town). Had about a half a dozen types/styles of beer to chose from. |
