rman18 | One thing is sure you will not return to this place for its food. The food is average bar food in bad form but as for the ambiance, location, people, and service this place is awesome. The beer like others have said are just average but well worth trying.

eaglefan538 | Not the best I saw in Montreal, but not bad. Lots of loud and live music in the heart of Montreal night-life, this one only produced enough quality beer to keep the attendees away from Molson. Decent beer, decent prices, but nothing great. I will skip this one and head to Dieu du Ciel next time I’m in Montreal.

ABUSEDGOAT | Average selection of beers. They have about 10 of their own, plus a few more with uninteresting stuff like Guinness. Beers were generally watery and lacked imagination. There’s a blond, a honey beer (blond), raspberry blond, nut brown, and honey brown. Cmon... Service was fast though, local band was playing.

linc33 | Visited last November. Didn’t see a menu, but I wasn’t hungry anyway. Decent beer, but the selection at the time was rather limited/similar to each other. Will return again - it’s just across the street from one of my favourite bars in Montreal.

| altgeeky1 | Convenient, near Downtown and ste Catherine 2 blocks from Sheraton. GOOD brews, comfy and cozy pub. Frequented by beer geeks, tourists, locals, and anglocentric frat kids (but not too many... no Bud Lite ha). Live music decent. 3 nights in town 2006, began each nite here. (sorry my post is brief, am on PDA, a browser this site doesn’t like)

crushinat0r | This place is great! A really friendly atmosphere, live good music, pac man shalk board drawings, I loved this place! The beer selection was really good too, 8-9 regular tap beers plus a few seasonals as well as a few exterior bottled selections. The only problem as I see it is there’s no food, or the kitchen was closed, or something. But there’s 99 cent pizza 2 doors down. the location of this place, in general, is also great, right in the heart of downtown. Skip Dieu du Ciel, check out Brutopia! (Oh and it’s not "wood curling" as muffin_man has stated, it’s shuffle board!! :D)

Mart | Un vrai pub ! Le décor est abimé, mais ça fait un charme. Il faut aller au sous-sol, c’est vraiment un beau bar. Les bands sont chouettes en général. Je trouve la bière très bien, style anglais. La IPA cask à elle seule vaut le détour.

| josarah | When we visited here there were many employees from other bars and resturants enjoying themselves here, what a great bunch of people. We were obvious american tourist, but they could have cared less. They treated us great and we stayed much longer that we planned. Many local beers and ciders. I’d go back (again & again).

mds | The location is very rowdy and English but easy enough to get to. It’s worth nothing though that it’s not near any of the other brewpubs so doesn’t really fit well into a crawl.
There were 9 beers on tap and they were all mediocre for the most part; I can’t really say that any of them stood out for me. We had an appetizer and again it wasn’t special but rather just something to hold us over.
Sampler tray was available in a sort of make-shift way but kudos to the server for accomodating us so graciously.
Not sure I’d be back here anytime soon but you never know.
