Next to Dieu Du Ciel, the best brewpub in Montreal. THe place looks amazing, i got lucky, andf got to sit in the nice comfy leather seats. LOADS of room, the service was super nice, and knowledgable. A HUGE list of 20 beers on tap. The food was decent, good finger foods. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Funky decor, long place with seemingly lots of room (although it was packed to the rafters when we were there). Good selection of their own beer and a few interesting taps (although not near the quality of V&V). I did not get to try too much here, but what I had was solid. Did not try the food. Service decent on a busy night. Good location. Shows much promise.

This is a place where you can feel comfortable, you can take your time to chose what you want to drink and eat, and both are very good. They now have a very good list of imported beers from Belgium and other countries. The food is also good I had a pizza and it was great.

Really nice, stylish interior with excellent sofas and good chairs. Plays loud rock music. Very nice vibe. Very good and attentive service. Had 17 draft beers when I was there, some cask. Not all the beers are equally good, but the focus on local micros is great. Serving sampler trays of the draft beers, with the numbers of the beers noted on the tray, is just great. Very nice place.

This is where you now go to get a sampling of tap beers, other than from the main brewpubs. Fifteen beers on tap, all available in what they said were 4 ounce samplers but I believe were 6 or more ounces, in a huge sampler tray of Belgian cups. A big plus, no bleach in these cups. The environment was multi-tiered, several outside tables, several seats and tables by the inside fake fireplace that generated terrible extra heat in the summer, a small bar in front of the female servers, and several comfy black leather seats in the back. The lighting was dimmed and not dark until 11pm, which was a plus, then darkened quite a bit. There were tanks in back. There was immediate service, I guess in case you are eating, and then typical Montreal near-indifference after that, though I was ordering $13 bottles. Overall very nice and I will be back.

This sleek, modernized setting in an older builing has an outdoor patio overlooking one of the hottest streets in Montreal. They had a fun Phil Collins CD playing in the background while I sat on my big wooden stool by the bar. Service was friendly and not too busy to serve me right away, but I think the waitresses were overly busy and underly staffed if it had been packed. (I watched one of the beefier bartenders bring in about nine bottles of different Rocheforts, all balanced in his arms and between his fingers... and I couldn’t help but cringe when one of them slipped and smashed on the floor. Another guy nonchalantly cleaned it up, whistling along with Phil.) Beer selection was impressive for local stuff on tap and you could get a big 5-sampler or bigger 16-sampler tray, though they annoyingly only had one of their own six on tap (the Brown Ale). My nearest neighbour had a personal pizza that looked interesting but I didn’t try any of the food. Overall, well worth a stop-in.

Many different sections offer you a different feel for where you want to sit from the sunny patio to the airy section just inside to more secluded areas towards the back of the bar. Large screen TVs are a distraction but could provide excitement come hockey season. Service was a bit slow as not enough staff for the size of the bar. Good selection of local micros as well as beers brewed (exclusively?) for this location. I’ll be interested to retry when they have their own beers brewed in house.

A great spot to sample some excellent Quebec microbrews on tap and in bottles. Modern feel, but still cozy with a fireplace on the main floor surrounded by big leather chairs. Lots of space. A nice street-side patio where we sipped our beers in the sun on St. Jean Baptiste Day. You can order a 5-beer paddle taster, or a 16-beer wheel taster. Bonne St. Jean!

I found this place to be the friendliest and most enjoyable brew pub I have visited in Montreal. Our waiter was outstanding. He knew his beer! We sat near the front open windows. The restaurant was smoke-free except for the patio out front. The food was good, the beer was good. Really, there was nothing about this place I could complain about! I would love to return on my next trip.
