An absolute must stop cidery. We got a full tour from (an awfully cute) girl who seems to take a large part in the brewing process. Their barrel-room is the most impressive I’ve seen outside Cantillon’s. Old, full bottles fill up nearly every wall in the place. At the end of the tour there is a tasting with 8+ ciders, all for free. Plus, it’s all open during the winter, even on weekends. Don’t miss this place!

If you want a crash-course in Cider history in Quebec, tour probably the nicest cidery in the province, check out the awesome gooseneck, and sample ciders that are for the most part above average with a few really great ones, this is the place to go. They specialize in methode Champenoise sparkling ciders, but have branched out with ice ciders and a pretty solid Calvados. The staff is quite savvy and is fun to talk to. I’ve taken a busload of friends on a tour of the area for the cidre et crepes weekend for the past 5 years now, and this place is usually is the favorite year in, year out. Prices are pretty much identical than at the SAQ, but you do get a discount if you buy cases, and they offer a few ciders that are only sold in-house. Highly recommended.
