beerbuzzmontreal | This new brewpub shows promises of great things to come. The interior has urban style decoration but with some warm elements, which gives a nice touch. They had five beers on service and they were all very good, the service was nice too. The food menu is limited but will soon see an expansion. I really look forward to go back there.

MartinT | This new brewpub is already offering quality throughout. The interior of the building is very impressive, the decoration is tastefully done, the ambiance very comfortable and classy at once, the service knowledgeable and friendly and the beers all cleanly brewed and with loads of potential. The food menu is going to change a few weeks after I post this, and we can expect more refined items such as tuna tartar, I was told. This new venture could very well become one of Quebec’s best brewpubs a few years down the road. It’s already getting close to my personal Top 5 in this evergrowing provincial beer scene.

Rastacouere | Beautiful brewpub that is a bit hard to spot from the outside. It is located in the old train station. A huge multi-floored paying parking lot is just outside, so is Sherbrooke’s central bus station. The job that they have done on the building is flawless. They even went up and painted this 50? feet high ceiling. Nice windows. Good acoustics. Pleasant atmospheric music. You want to stay in that pub for a few hours. Comfortable seating. Friendly and professional service the staff can apparently explain you the lineup quite convincingly. brbr It remains a very young place and the potential is there for it to become one of Québec’s top brewpub attractions. The 6 beers on offer were all clean and easy 3+. Much better than average. A good range as well with some heavier brews for the more adventurous public. I would gladly have taken a pint of any of them. They have about 30 recipes on hand to switch their offerings around. A much better new alternative to La Mare au Diable in Sherbrooke. With Brouemont being reasonably close, the region just became much more attractive to spend a beery weekend in.
