| VT (16), Quebec City, Quebec | | March 26, 2012 Very nice place, larger than I would have expected. Service was top notch, beer was wonderful. Great place. | | jorondo (10), , | | January 19, 2012 Beer are excellent, always fully loaded with students, nice atmosphere, lots of energy, original concept (especially the coasters, kinda collectible!), only downside is the price of the food. There are many different beers, they are all extremely refined. A must-try in sherbrooke, don’t miss the Trip d’automne III ! | | Sammy (408), Toronto, Ontario | | November 24, 2010 I was very impressed with this place. Its right in the train station and has been beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. Its bright, it has two parts: the brewpub and a crowd oftables plus a bar, and the restaurant/cafe area. There is an upper level for the night overflow. Parking is plentiful (it a small city so not an issue). Jonathan, a partner-the brewmaster, plans expansion next to Quebec City and then to Montreal and beyond in Quebec. There is a place, types of food and styles of beer for everybody. The ordinary lineup of beer hit their mark and then there is always a special or two seasonal, now the Scotch. I also had the double IPA and the barleywine which were very good. Worth the trip. | | sicham (10), Quebec | | November 14, 2010 [ Updated November 30, 2010 ] The beer is not always great, but is mostly good. Sometime they get some good new products, sometime its just ok. The two best are the Trip d’automne and the Quaker Stout for me. For the price, the ambiance, service and value, i recommend this place. Food is good in general, nachos pass the test. * The beer got up in price, its getting a little pricey. | | JulienHuxley (64), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec | | July 5, 2010 This brewpub is located in an old train station that was recently renovated. The place is absolutely enourmous with lots of room and great seating (couches, stools chairs, armchairs, benches it has them all) in a nice clean environement. There was plenty of staff to meet the demand when I was there and they were kind and friendly. They have 8 of their beers on tap at all times including some seasonals along with all sorts of other non beer related stuff (wine, drinks etc.) They have a small pub food menu and a friend of mine says the food is good, but I didn’t try anything while I was there. The pricing for the beer was reasonable by quebec standards and they offer 4 different sizes for most of their beers (sample, 10 oz, 14 oz and 20 oz). It is a very nice bar and I would certainly visit it often if I lived near it. | | TEJA (36), Stockholm, Sweden | | February 10, 2010 A former railwai station turned into a microbrewery with a god selection of 8 of their own products. The place is spacious with high brick walls and modern interior design. The bartenders are bilingual (thanks) and now a litle aboute the beers but arn’t any beer nerds. The meny didn’t look to impressing and they had a deli counter when you enter that shows alot of sandwiches and cold food. The pricing was inbetween on their beer, A lot of people so its a popular place. | | punkska101 (29), Chambly, Quebec | | August 3, 2009 Nice ambiance, the decoration is beautiful pretty much the prettiest pub I’ve been too. Nice food selection and good beer line-up. It easy to park by. | | flx (10), Quebec | | June 21, 2009 Nice ambiance. Can be loudy at some point. The beer selection is good and those are usually good too. A nice place that I enjoy. | | LadySusan (90), Ste-Therese, Quebec | | March 14, 2009 This is a very spacious brew pub, and the decor is funny and inviting. The service is good. The food is very tasty. The beer selection is quite good and enough choices to please everyboby. The choices of beers is just going to get bigger and bigger. | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | February 23, 2009 I really enjoyed the decor here, in the old Sherbrooke train station, with high ceilings, walls of old bricks, very classy. Crowed is mainly UdeS students, rather young. The beer selection is quite good, with 8 taps (with 2 to 3 seasonals rotating). The menu is a little more extensive than Boquébiere, so if you want a fuller meal, come here: Pizza, sandwiches. The brewer was there and gave me a few more samples of beers in the work. He is always interested in people’s opinion. I liked this place. |
