| robinvboyer (32), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario | | September 9, 2009 Great looking place. Quite trendy, and the decor is original and vibrant. The staff was extremely pleasant, and friendly. Ive had many tasting platters at many bars and this was the 1st bar to bring me my tasting platter with some crackers to cleans my palate, and she also gave a description of every beer, and even suggested what order I should drink them in. I was impressed with her knowledge. The food was outstanding! Its resto pub food, but its super tasty, and very well done. My lamb burger with curry mayo was great, and my wifes chicken burger was a REAL chicken breast, not a frozen hunk of flesh from a box! imagine that!
They had 8 beers on tap, and they were all decent. Again, nothing mind blowing, their stout and IPA were the stand outs. It was nice to see them try some different beers such as a dubbel, and a cream ale. Overall a worthwhile stop for lunch and some quality beers. | JulienHuxley (8), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec does not count - explanation | | July 6, 2009 This place always has a selection of 8 beers brewed on spot the best being the IPA and the Stout. The food is simple but great pub food. The beer is reasonably priced. | | Poperinge (119), Cowtown, Alberta | | March 29, 2009 Looked like the place could be fun, the beer was okay and the food was better than average. | | presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | March 15, 2009 Wide open. Pretty busy for weekday lunch. 8 beers on tap. Two sample filghts of 4. Pleasant short lunch menu. Attractive and tasty salad. | clubchat (2), Sullivan, Quebec does not count - explanation | | September 11, 2008 Nouvel habitant du coin, j’adore aller leur rendre visite, très bon spectacle chaque semaine, excellentes bières et beaucoup de choix ! | | TaktikMTL (141), Montréal-Nord, Quebec | | May 15, 2008 Établissement visité le vendredi 9 mai vers 14h30. (89e rating d’établissement) | | Sammy (273), Toronto, Ontario | | May 14, 2008 very pleasant restaurant, not very large, in this safe and sound town of 32,000 110 minutes from Montreal. The bar in the middle is the hub and it is very busy. The beer is so-so, its a local attraction, but only one in the lineup was average. Very friendly but you will struggle without some basic French. Beer is fast, food is slow though we were here with the lunchtime crowd. | Beer1Beer2Beer (1), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec does not count - explanation | | January 16, 2008 Great place to try fair assortment of beers, and enjoying a snack or meal..
Negative comment would be the 3 p.m. opening on Saturdays. | | LadySusan (77), Ste-Therese, Quebec | | April 17, 2006 This place is a bit far from the heart of the city. The service is good the food is pub fare and the choices of beer is very good. | | Goldorak (110), Montreal, Quebec | | April 15, 2006 Island bar, bottles and artwork in the decor, mug club mugs that look more like pitchers. Excellent service, very friendly and attentive. In fact on my first visit the waitress gave us a complete tour, from the brewing equipment to the kitchen to the downstairs keg storage area. 13$ for all-you-can-eat mussels that were fantastic. Beer quality was very good, nothing too far off the beaten path and nothing over 6%, but besides that, an overall excellent experience. |
