This place is for imports. I was really underwhelmed with their regional and local micro selection. However, there were a number of Belgian imports that can be hard to come by. Some beers here are a bit old (the current (11/2009) Orval was from 09/2008) and the prices are just above average. Oddly enough, despite having a good selection of Belgians, they really lacked in lambics, which was unfortunate. I’ll be back for various Belgians, but they need to step up on the local and regional micros, seriously.

I used to come here in college for booze when I didn’t drink beer. I went back today and was happy to find a pretty nice selection. The prices were high, but in my fatigued red eyed state i bought some stuff anyway. I can’t really guage New England Selection anymore but I was glad to see a number of cool things including some southern tier (not choklat :( ) and a number of other things.

A number of awesome, and unsual for an out of towner, selections. small place, and not totally to beer, but definitely has quality first. wine place ambiance. OK, not unfriendly staff. pricey, but got great stuff.

A decent beer store located right in the heart of downtown Providence on the corner of Thayer Street on Brown’s campus. The selection is decent. I grabbed some FFF stuff while there. Some of the bottle selection seemd to have been there for quite a while.
