Visited July 17, 2010 9 house taps Only 2 of their own beers on but they brew for Coronado and New English as well. Not much of a tasting room, actually its just a small counter for the register and you’re in the brewery. Parking is only on the street and the place isnt completely visible. Nice girl that served the samples and helpful. You can walk around and give yourself the tour. Luckily there are drains on the floor to dump samples as most of the beers are not something that you would want 4-5 oz of.

Checked this place out a few hours before I had to catch my plane back to NYC. Located in the gorgeous old Mission Brewery building, it’s a fairly industrial looking spot, full of gleaming 30 bbl fermenters. Straight across from the Washington St Blue line tram station... don’t go walking up to Hancock St, like I did, just walk straight across into the Mission Brewery Complex... the brewery is dead ahead. Staffed by a single friendly bartender/office worker and the owner, who was only too happy to chat about beer and the starting of a new brewery. There are 10-12 beers on tap, four that are the brewers recipes and 6-7 that are an assortment of contract brewed stuff from either Coronado brewing or EZ brewing. Very cheap prices and the pilsner is definitely worth seeking out. The ales could probably use a bit of work, but it’s a beautiful spot that I hope succeeds in what is undoubtedly a competitive market.
